Plese red complete instlltion instructions before fitting for enclosure nd try (if fitting).. We recommend the use of sfety glsses nd non slip gloves when hndling the glss pnels. 3. Ensure tht the product cn be fixed to solid msonry wll or suitble timber stud work grde C6/C4 in the re behind the wll frmes. 4. Shower trys or tiled floors must be bsolutely level where enclosures re fitted 5. If fitting try we recommend dringe test is crried out before the try is tiled in position. 6. The ssembly should be instlled onto wterproof wll covering nd instlled fter the try nd wll coverings re in plce. Trys with tiling lips should be let into the wll with the tiling lip flush with the wll to llow the tiling to overlp the tiling lip. 7. Sel between try nd tiles. Remove ny excess selnt from the re/joint between the try nd the tiles where the wll mount is to be fitted. This will ensure the wll mount fits correctly to the wll nd try/or tiled floor. CAUTION: TEMPERED GLASS CANNOT BE CUT, POLISHED METAL AND CHROME CAN BE SCRATCHED. CAREFULLY REMOVE ASSEMBLY FROM CARTON, DO NOT PLACE GLASS ON HARD FLOOR OR EXPOSE EDGES TO IMPACT. DO NOT CUT TOP TRACK IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. STAGE x 4 x 4 TOP VIEW FIXED PANEL WALL MOUNT WALL MOUNT x 4 b x 4 Ø6 This stge is describing the fitting of the wll mount. Before fitting the enclosure, plese check tht your product will fit the finished perture size. (See dimensions). Mrk position for wll mount onto the wll. Check tht this mesurement is within the mx nd min width mesurements. Position the side pnel wll mount onto the wll. Plumb the wll mount for upright nd mrk the fixing holes in the centre of the slots. b. Drill 4 x fixing holes in the wll nd insert wll plugs. Clen re nd pply silicon selnt to the re behind the wll mount between the try nd tiles nd 00mm up the wll, centrl to the width of the wll mount. Fit the wll mount using the No.8 x 3mm Pn Hed Screws.
STAGE GLASS EDGE PROTECTOR SOAPY WATER GLASS EDGE PROTECTOR This stge is describing the fitting of the glss pnel.. Mke sure the glss gurd edge is the downwrds edge plced onto the try. b. Lightly wet the edge of the glss pnel with sopy wter nd gently lower the pnel down onto the try/floor then long into the wll mount. Adjust ccordingly into the wll mount.
STAGE 3 c CROSS SECTION FRONT VIEW A MANDRIL A STAR NUT inside edge of glss WALL b A - mm WOOD BLOCK FINISHED END STAR NUT A - mm CUT LINE d CUT END TWIST GLASS CLAMP WALL BRACKET This stge is describing the fitting of the brce br.. Mesure the distnce (A) between the inside edge of the glss pnel nd the opposite wll. b. Mesure nd cut the brce br down to the correct length (A - mm). Mke sure to cut the end without str nut inside. c. Using Hmmer nd Mndril (found in the kit of prts), tp the Strt Nut (found in the kit of prts) into the cut end of the Brce Br tube. Mke sure the wings on the str nut re curved towrds you, out of the tube. TIP: Plce the Brce Br on block of wood to protect the coted end from being dmged. d. Twist the Glss Clmp ssembly (found in the kit of prts) onto the coted/coloured end, which ws uncut nd hd the str nut inside lredy. Twist the Wll Brcket ssembly (found in the kit of prts) onto the end you just cut nd hmmered str nut into.
STAGE 4 x x 4mm b.5mm c WALL PLATE Ø6 This stge is describing the fitting of the wll plte.. Fit the Brce Br over the top of the glss pnel. This my require loosening the Fixed Brcket using 4mm Allen key. b. Mking sure the br is Horizontl, mrk on the wll round the Wll Plte. Remove the Brce Br. Centrlise the Wll Plte nd mrk the hole. c. Drill x fixing hole in the wll nd insert wll plug. Clen the re. Then ttch the Wll Plte using the No.8 x 3mm Pn Hed Screw provided in the kit of prts.
STAGE 5 b.5mm c 4mm This stge is describing the fitting of the brce br.. Slot the end of the Bce Br over the Wll Plte first, then plce the Fixed Brcket end over the top of the glss pnel. b. Secure the Brce Br onto the Wll Plte by tightening the two grub screws using.5mm Allen key. c. Tighten the Fixed Brcket onto the glss pnel using 4mm Allen Key.
STAGE 6 b c 00mm This stge is describing seling of the unit.. Fit the wll mount top cp (supplied in the kit of prts) to the top of the wll mount. b. Fit the cover cp (supplied in the kit of prts), press firmly into the end of the brce br. c. Apply thin bed of silicon long the bottom edge of the wll mount nd ll the wy up the outside of the wll mount nd the tiles. Continue round the joint nd lso 00mm up on the outside where the wll mount nd glss meet.

Mesure the distnce, A, between the top of the glss pnel nd the ceiling t the end of the glss pnel. b. Mesure nd cut the Ceiling Brce Br down to the correct length (A + 00mm). c. Check the height of the Ceiling Brce Br in position before continuing.
STAGE 4 x CEILING d b SIDE VIEW A A - 5mm FILLER PROFILE FILLER PROFILE A CEILING BRACKET c Ø6 This stge is describing the fitting of the Ceiling Brcket.. Slide the Ceiling Brcket onto the top end of the Ceiling Brce Br. Position the Ceiling Brce Br on the end of the glss, mke sure the Ceiling Brce Br is verticl before proceeding. b. Hold the Ceiling Brce Br in the correct position nd slide the Ceiling Brcket up to the ceiling. Mrk the position of the screw slots in the Ceiling Brcket. Remove the Ceiling Brce Br nd Brcket. c. Drill x fixing holes in the wll nd insert wll plugs. Clen the re. d. Mesure the distnce, A, between the top of the glss pnel nd the ceiling t the end of the glss pnel (this should be the sme s Stge 3). Mesure nd cut the Ceiling Brce Br down to the correct length (A-5mm).
STAGE 5 x c FILLER PROFILE GLASS CEILING BRACE BAR b TAPE TAPE This stge is describing seling of the unit.. Apply Silicon up the bck of Ceiling Brce Br. Check the Ceiling Brce Br is verticl before temporrily securing in plce with Tpe, til dry. b. Secure the Ceiling Brce Br in position by fitting the Ceiling Brcket using the No.8 x 3mm Pn Hed Screws. c. Fit the Filler Profile into plce. Slot the cut end up into the Ceiling Brcket before pushing the Filler Profile flush into the Ceiling Brce Br.

MAINTENANCE Mtki Glss Gurd Esy Clen Surfce Protection (optionl) nd Generl Clening Guide Clening Instructions Mtki Glss Gurd llows wter to form minute beds which esily trickle off the surfce of the glss. This mkes the glss esier to clen - the glss does not need to be clened s frequently, but it does require occsionl mintennce. As less clening is required the use of detergents cn be minimised thus helping to protect the environment. The lifespn of the Mtki Glss Gurd is dependnt on the frequency of use of the shower nd the degree of wter hrdness. The combintion of lkline mterils nd humidity ffects glss in n extremely ggressive wy. Do not use blech, lkline, cid-bsed or ggressive nd brsive glss cleners, detergents or household clening products on the glss or frmes. We recommend tht glss is wshed down with clen wter nd soft clen cloth or sponge nd dried off with microfibre cloth. The specil coting is only present on the inside of the glss. Mtki Glss Gurd is gurnteed for yers provided tht the guidelines nd clening instructions re followed. Aluminium nd Chrome prts should be clened with mild non scrtch household clener nd soft cloth or sponge. Do not use cidic-bsed descler products or products which re unsuitble for clening enmelled surfces, including brsive cleners or cleners contining blech or solvents, s the products will effect the nodised frmework. Under no circumstnces use cleners with ph level exceeding 8. Mtki does not recommend the use of 'Leve-on' shower cleners on Mtki Glss Gurd Products. Wter Softeners nd Glss Gurd - Certin types of wter softeners increse the lklinity of the wter due to crry-over of Chloride during re-genertion which cn cuse ggressive wter spots on both untreted nd Glss Gurded glss. If using wter softener we recommend two-cylinder mchine with utomtic re-genertion insted of timer. If single-cylinder wter softener with timer is lredy instlled it is recommended tht fter ech shower excess wter is removed from the glss with squeegee or with micro-fibre cloth. Annul recommended mintennce - Mtki recommend nnully lubricting the brrel of the hinge with lubricting spry such s WD-40 to remove dust build-up nd to id the movement of the hinge. WHITE SPIRIT BLEACH Wsh down with clen wrm wter nd soft clen cloth or sponge. Do not use blech, lkline or cid-bsed, ggressive or brsive clening products. Flsh Bthroom Spry or Cif Bthroom Spry cn be used on Mtki Products. Red mnufcturers lbel before using ny clening mterils. IMPORTANT Mtki Glss Gurd is gurnteed for yers.
