Big thank you to Margaret for making the beautiful wall hanging to be donated to our meeting place. Margaret you do beautiful work and have great taste in color choices. So they say April showers bring May flowers, but I see rainy days as perfect days to sew. Hopefully for lots of reasons we have some April showers. Welcome to our visitors and our new members. Glad to have new faces. Happy quilting! Jane Lamb DOOR PRIZES If your last name begins with M or N please bring a door prize to the May meeting and give it to Michelle Rodriguez. Scrappy Spring Mystery 2008 Cindy Carter 2008 This is a scrappy quilt with a very definite spring theme. I recommend you choose fabrics that say spring to you. If you are using prints please use a smaller scale print. If you do NOT like scrappy you can also make the quilt NOT scrappy. The quilt pattern includes a border. If you prefer to do your own border, that would be great too. The quilt was designed to be fun for both beginners and more advanced quilters. Choose your quilt size: Lap/Twin 57 by7 with border 69 by 69 Full 75 by 75 with border 87 by 87 If you want a larger quilt you can easily add more rounds to the border. Each round increases the dimension of the quilt by 6. (For example, adding one round would make the full measure 93 by 93 ). If you have any questions or concerns please contact me: cartercynthia@gmail.com Fabric Requirements 1
