News Paper: FARIBAULT DAILY NEWS FARIBAULT, Date: JANUARY 22, 1951 Maiden Name: DEMANN NORTHFIELD--Mrs. Henrietta Ludwig, Faribault, Route 5, passed away at Ausbury hospital in Minneapolis, Saturday, January 20, following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Ludwig had been a patient at the hospital for nine weeks following a heart attack and had also undergone surgery. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at the Congregational-Baptist church with the Rev. John I. Bronner, Minneapolis, pastor of the Golden Valley Baptist church officiating at 2:00 p. m. Burial will be made at the Forest Union cemetery at Lonsdale. Pallbearers will be Henry, Edward, Arthur and William Meehl, Harry Leider and Walter Thielbar. Friends may call at the family home Monday evening and until the hour of the service on Tuesday. Henrietta DeMann was born April 17, 1884, the daughter of Charles and Marguerite Meehl DeMann at Forest township. She spent her lifetime in the same community. She attended the public schools and on May 28, 1901 was united in marriage to Henry Ludwig in Forest township, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Northfield Congregational-Baptist church and the Garden club. Mrs. Ludwig is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Herbert Younker, (Irene), Faribault, Route 5; Mrs. Tom Spencer (Lucille) St. Paul; Miss Grace Ludwig, Minneapolis; Mrs. Robert Henry (Marjorie) and Miss Joyce Ludwig, both of Northfield. There are also three sister and two brothers surviving including Mrs. M. E. Taggert, MInneapolis; Mrs. Tilman Amstutz, India; Mrs. Dana Sharp; Minneapolis; Frank DeMann, Northfield and Jacob DeMann, Dundas.
