P a g e 2 ~ T h e V i s t a ~ Don t Miss the Bus!!! Wednesday, July 20, 2016 We re joining with the Yates History Center and taking a bus trip to the Susan B Anthony Museum and House in Rochester, New York. The bus will leave from Watkins Glen at 9:00am with a pick up in Penn Yan at 9:45am. We will arrive at the Susan B. Anthony House at 11:00am where we will enjoy a docent-led tour. After touring we will have lunch in the air conditioned carriage house. No museum trip would be complete without a visit to the museum gift shop. We will leave at 2:00pm and return to Penn Yan at 3:15 and Watkins Glen at 4:00. If you are a member of either the Schuyler or Yates Societies, the price is $60, non-member $65. The fee includes comfortable transportation on a small size bus, museum entrance, and lunch. Reservations are required by July 11th, due to the limited seating on the bus and to ensure a quality tour with plenty of opportunity to view the museum and engage the docent in conversation. David has been instrumental in the many repairs and updates of the Brick Tavern Museum. From creating UV protective storm windows to installing the HVAC unit on the second floor, David has been taking care of the museum building. Mr. Lisk has also taken time to care for the stories of our Schuyler County families. Recently he has been adding the newspaper stories of military men and women returning from WWII to the family Surname files. The museum and the Society are so grateful for David Lisk s dedication and hard work. Please Support our 2016 Business Sponsors Cargill Lakewood Vineyards Finger Lakes Distilling Stewart P.
