Do you go online and look at the hundreds of camera bags in a dozen or more styles? The best way to choose a bag is to touch, look and feel, hopefully when it is full of gear. For our Jan 5 meeting, bring is your primary camera bag(s) and tripods so everyone can make a judgement for themselves to see if they fit their style of photography. January 5 th.

For Sale or Looking For If you have a piece of photo equipment you are either looking to sell or looking for, this newsletter will be an option for you.

Hints & Tips: If you have an area of interest that you feel would be of interest to the club, this editor would welcome contributions. Creating an article for a newsletter normally results in learning as well as contributing. Hold your camera properly You might not know it but there is a right way and a wrong way to hold a DSLR camera. The correct way is to support the lens by cupping your hand underneath it. This is usually done with the left hand, with your right hand gripping the body of the camera. This helps to prevent camera shake. If you are gripping your camera with your hands on either side of the camera body, there is nothing supporting the lens, and you might end up with blurry photos. To get an even more stable stance, tuck your elbows into the side of your body.
