The Seventh Annual Rock2Beat Pediatric Cancer Dinner to benefit The Music Therapy Program at Tuesday, November 10, 2015 6:30 PM
Music Therapy at The Cancer Center for Kids The Cancer Center for Kids Music Therapy Program, under the direction of licensed Creative Arts Therapist Glenn Schifano, promotes the physical and emotional well-being of our children by encouraging them to express their fears and concerns through the universal language of music. For the children treated at the CCFK, music helps deal with feelings, fears, and questions; it can help kids develop and grow while they continue to battle a terrible disease. By participating in Music Therapy, our children have learned to cope with personal issues and emerge from a world of medical procedures and pain to take part in making music, and joyfully participating in live vocal and instrumental performance. Indeed, the Music Therapy Program heals and celebrates the human spirit.
You are cordially invited to The Seventh Annual Rock2Beat Pediatric Cancer! Join us for a lively evening of music, cocktails and dinner featuring a special performance by: The CCFK JAM BAND Tuesday, November 10, 2015 The Inn at New Hyde Park 214 Jericho Turnpike New Hyde Park, NY 11040 RSVP by October 30, 2015
