4365 & 4375 Recorders VIEW RECORDERS Splash and dust-proof door permits use even in poor environments. (Based on DIN 40050-IP54). Depth is a mere 220 mm, enabling significant instrument panel space savings. Wide selection 13 models to choose from Both the µrs1000 and µrs1800 lines include 4-pen models to handle a broad range of applications. Dot-printing models work fast up to 6 points in 10 seconds for µrs1000, and 24 points in 30 seconds for µrs1800, giving high-quality analog recordings. µrs1000 (436504 Pen) 144 144 220mm 3.7kg (5-11/16 5-11/16 8-5/8" 8.2 lbs) µrs1800 (437524 Dot) 288 288 220mm 9.4kg (11-3/8 11-3/8 8-5/8" 20.7 lbs) FUNCTIONS SIMPLER OPERATION AND SETUP Holding the MENU key for three seconds switches the recorder from the normal Operation Mode to Set Mode, simplifying operation and setting entry. Manual printout and list printout are done in Operation Mode, while settings such as alarm values and chart speed are entered in Set Mode. Safety Standards : CSA22.2 No.1010.1 (CSA C and US) EN61010-1 EMC Standards : Emissions EN61326 Class A EN61000-3-2 Class D EN61000-3-3 Immunity EN61326 The µrs1000/µrs1800 recorders combine the outstanding reliability of the more sophisticated µr1000/µr1800 recorders with simplicity and ease of use. Factory preset for the input types and spans you specify and with proper analog scales all you need to do is connect them to your process and turn the power on to start recording. In addition, they bring a wealth of printing functions that let you use them in a wide variety of process monitoring and recording applications. And, advanced designs eliminates moving contacts through the use of already field-proven YOKOGAWA technologies. You can operate them in a broad range of environments with complete confidence. In addition to a wide selection of 13 different pen and dot-printing models, an abundance of options such as RS-422A interface and remote control are available. Just choose the right recorder for your application. FEATURES Simplicity and operating ease The input ranges and spans you specify are preset before shipment. They require no initial setup. Just power up and start recording. Read-at-a-glance analog pointer scales Analog indicators with scales and units programmed to your exact specifications allow easy visibility of measured values and recording positions. High reliability in a compact 220 mm (8.66 inches) deep case The use of high-voltage solid-state scanner relays, brushless DC servo motors and ultrasonic pen position transducers that work with no moving contacts allow the highest possible reliability. Low power consumption thanks to the use of ASICs to achieve high quality integrated circuit designs. MOVING SPROCKET Moving sprocket technology is provided for smooth chart feed. Moving sprocket eliminates the problem of misfeed due to temperature and humidity changes. (µrs1800 only) INNOVATIVE DESIGN ENDS INK BLEED AT CHART FOLDS Ink bleed along the chart folds at slow writing speeds was always a problem with Z-fold chart pen recorders. In the µrs1000/µrs1800 a precision slot along the platen under the folds eliminates this problem. CHART INSTALLATION Removable chart cassette comes all the way out of the case for quick and easy chart replacement. REMOVABLE TERMINAL BLOCKS Each input and output terminal block can be removed convenience when wiring. Connector mating surfaces are gold-plated for high corrosion resistance.

EXAMPLES OF RECORDING / PRINTING 1. Analog Recording Model µrs1000 provides a continuous record of up to four channels (six with the dot-printing model), while Model µrs1800 provides a continuous record of up to four channels (twenty-four with the dot-printing model). 4. Manual Printout Triggered with front panel key or remote control (optional function), the recorder prints the instantaneous measured value(s). 2. Digital Periodic Printout At constant intervals linked to the chart speed, the recorder prints the date and time; channel numbers; alarm status; measured values; engineering units; scales; analog trace colors (same corresponding pen colors used in dot-printing model only); and chart speed. 5. List Printout Prints the list of setup parameters such as chart speed, range, and span. 3. Alarm Printout Prints alarm channel number, type, and setting level, and the time when it occurred or returned to normal.

Note: /A4 and /A5 can be specified only for µrs1800. Open-circuiting of input causes indication to drive upscale. Open-circuiting of input causes indication to drive downscale. A host computer can control and set parameters or receive the data. Eliminates the offset of time-phase (phase difference) between the pen traces in 2-, 3-, and 4-pen recorders. Using F as temperature unit Detecting failure in the CPU or when the chart paper reaches its end, displays the detection and outputs transfer contacts. Uses clamps for input terminals. Provides specially treated non-glare glass for front door. Provides digital display 24 V DC power supply Enables the following control functions: recording start/stop, chart speed change manual printout start. Single scale and double marking for dot-printing recorder Single scale and triple marking for dot-printing recorder Double scale and double marking for dot-printing recorder Double scale and triple marking for dot-printing recorder Triple scale and triple marking for dot-printing recorder Note: No option code need be specified for a pen model or single scale with single marking for dot-printing recorder. Note: Option code is to be selected as per the required specification. (Refer to TI 4D6B1-01E.) ORDERING INFORMATION 1. Model and suffix codes 2. Option codes 3. Recording span in each channel 4. When 6, 7, 8 or 9 is specified for the range code of a dot recorder: for 62, 72, 82 or 94- specify the two range codes, the recording spans and corresponding channel numbers, for 63, 73, 83 or 94- specify the three range codes, the recording spans and corresponding channel numbers, for 64, 74, 84 or 94- specify the four range codes, the recording spans and corresponding channel numbers 5. When a scaling range (range code: 30 to 34 and 40 to 44) is required, specify the scaling value (numeric value only) and unit. In case the scaling range is required within the specified range code, 6, 7, 8, 9 also specify the scaling value(s) and unit(s) in the same way. 6. Scale and unit of the scale plate.
