THE UGLY DUCKLING 2 BEFORE GOING TO THE THEATRE Welcome to The Ugly Duckling! Are you ready to go to the theatre? We will have a lot of fun! Let s start! 1. MY FAMILY! To do this exercise it s important that you previously tell the students to bring a photo of their family. Once they stick the photo in the box, they will describe it. Please make sure they practice the vocabulary they already know about family (for example, sister, brother, etc.). WHO ARE THEY? WHAT ARE THEIR NAMES?

THE UGLY DUCKLING 3 2. ANIMALS! WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ANIMAL? DRAW IT! The activity is open and free. Please encourage students to use their imagination and to describe their drawings in English with the whole class. Please remind them of the vocabulary they probably already know: colours and sizes (big, small, tall, short...) MY FAVOURITE ANIMAL IS...
