Week 1 Theme: Goldilocks 04/01/15 Group 1- children: OJ Group 2- children: DA SG KP LN Group 3- children: CL DP EB Adults to observe closely for children s reactions to photos. Share their toy with Children to select from 2 materials after modelling Collage with Children to make choices and use tools with intermittent Group Circle: To share photo s (or real toys if brought in) of all of children s Christmas toys. Main Activity: To use children s photos sent in by parents of children with their Christmas gifts. To make a book of the children s Christmas 2015. Children to respond to the pictures using gesture. Structured Play: To play with toys children have brought in to show and share (where appropriate). Main Activity: To have pre-cut bears and Goldilocks and an assortment of fur (bears) and (cotton/fabric) dress materials (pre-cut up). Children choose appropriate material to collage for character. Children to paint independently after required. Provide choices of 2 to Main Activity: To have a selection of feathers of different sizes and an assortment of paint colours. Main Activity: To use a brown bag, upside down, and add features inc ears, snout, eyes from an assortment of fabric, materials. Children to create Big Brown Bag Pig puppets from a paper bag. Children to engage with intermittent Structured Play: Small world pigs and assorted materials, sticks, bricks, straw for pigs to play in Children to collage on top of Group Circle: To share PP of collage work using straw, sticks and bricks Children to follow adult modelling and house shaped templates. Main Activity: To have available a selection of materials used in the 3 Little Pigs Story and use them to collage the houses.
