In March, California State Treasurer Fiona Ma hosted her Annual Birthday Celebration and Fundraising Event on the 48th Floor. This was the first time the event had been held at the Transamerica Pyramid Center, and her event planner and Independent Contractor Clementine Howard said, Of the 19 years I have been hosting birthday fundraisers for Fiona, she told me that this was the best event we have ever had. From beginning to end, it was perfect. Howard explained that she chose this location, because it was the ideal venue to represent the government office that Fiona Ma currently holds. The 48th Floor of the Transamerica Pyramid represents all that San Francisco is, with its beauty, old San Francisco feel, classic, open and inviting charm. She added that the view was exceptional and perfect for their early evening, sunset soiree. Many prominent and long-time supporters joined her in celebrating, including Jeanine Nicholson, the Deputy Chief of Administration and incoming Chief of the San Francisco Fire Department, as well as Shon Buford, San Francisco Firefighters Local 798 President-Elect. In total, there were 105 guests in attendance. The event included music (Fiona Ma s playlist specifically arranged by JLL Assistant General Manager Nic Robinette), a short speech and food & drinks.
