Award of Bids A) HVAC FILTRATION FILTERS BID #131 Award of Bid #131 WHEREAS, the district placed legal notice advertising a bid for HVAC Filtration Filters Bid #131 in the official district papers on June, 11, 2015 and provided bid documents to 8 vendors; and invited bids on HVAC Filtration Filters Bid #131 which bids were opened publicly on June 23, 2015; and WHEREAS, Tri-Dim Filter Corporation was the lowest priced responsible bidder, see attached, on the HVAC Filtration Filters Bid #131; Schools, the Board of Education hereby determines that Tri-Dim Filter Corporation was the lowest priced responsible bidder on the HVAC Filtration Filter Bid#131 and approves the award of the HVAC Filtration Filters Bid #131 to Tri-Dim Filter Corporation. C) AWARD OF BID #418 ATHLETIC UNIFORMS AWARD Award of Bid: #418 WHEREAS, the district placed legal notice advertising a bid for athletic uniforms(bid #418) in the official district paper on June 18, 2015, and mailed bid documents to 20 vendors; and invited sealed bids for athletic uniforms, which bids were opened publicly on July 13, 2015; and WHEREAS, multiple bidders were the lowest responsible bidders on various items within the athletic uniforms (bid #418); Schools, the Board of Education hereby determines that Port Jefferson Sporting Goods, Sportmans, GTM Sportswear, Massapequa Soccer Shop, Baxter s, Varsity Spirit, Metuchen Center, Alpha Factor, GK Elite and Levy s were the lowest responsible bidders for various items within the (see attached detailed list) athletic uniforms (bid #418) and approves the award of athletic uniforms (bid #418) to Port Jefferson Sporting Goods, Sportmans, GTM Sportswear, Massapequa Soccer Shop, Baxter s, Varsity Spirit, Metuchen Center, Alpha Factor, GK Elite and Levy s.

Board of Education Additional New/Old Business, if any Board Member Ryan commented on the Wellness Policy and its relationship to the food bids; also asked Mrs. Butler about the election update. Board Member Tangney suggested the LBMS Auditorium ceiling should be cleaned; she also asked about the date for school visitations. Resolution was added: WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Schools has been requested to bring the personnel records of non-affiliated managerial employees to a meeting of the Board of Education for review in executive session pursuant to Part 84 of the regulations of the Commissioner of Education; and WHEREAS, the Board of Education has determined that the information contained in said personnel file(s) will aid it in fulfilling its legal responsibilities in making decisions in employee personnel matters; it is RESOLVED, that the Board of Education shall meet in an executive session to be conducted on August 27, 2015, at 5:45 PM to review the personnel files of nonaffiliated managerial employees, after which said files shall be returned to the custody of the Superintendent of Schools.
