Minutes of Monthly Meeting continued A sign-up sheet for the 2019 Block of the Month was circulated during the meeting as well. The October minutes were accepted as published in the October newsletter. The November Sit-n-Sew is scheduled Saturday, November 10th, starting at 9:00 a.m. Judy Robbins reported she mailed out 8 birthday cards and 1 get well during the month of October. Treasurer s report given by Missy Lee, our guild has a current balance of $3,675.35. Lucy Large has purchased a quilt stand for the guild. It was sadly announced that the Riverfest Quilt Show will not be held in 2019. Kay of Stitch n Frame has decided not to host the event as her business unfortunately did not break-even with the 2017 event. The venue and other costs involve have gotten too expensive. Polly Dugan read a very heart touching letter from a facility that received Quilts of Valor from our guild to give to veterans and how much they touch the lives of and are appreciated by the recipients. There being no more business, we moved on to Sew n Tell and our Auction.
