World of crochet toys is the world of joy, warmth and coziness. Create harmony around yourself! DESIGNER DIANA PATSKUN

So, my dear friend, are you ready to start our small adventure? I promise that the process won't be boring at all, on the contrary it will wake up your imagination and make you achieve a desirable result. It is a kind of a quest when you finish it you will be surprised and willing to do it again and again! :) Well, my little friend, get all the necessary materials, which you should have already prepared out of the bins, take your place on your lovely sofa and don't forget to make a cup of aroma coffee or tea and let s begin. The first part consists of crocheting of all parts of the toy. It is the main and the easiest part. I only want to wish you good luck and the smoothest crochets. And remember if you fail the first time, don't get upset, you will manage to do it, I promise. Never give up. Everything I've got today is the result of hard work. And I'm sure you will do it even better if you really want it.

R24: 24 sc Stuff the detail. R25: (2 sc, dec) * 6 (18) R26-35 (10 rounds): 18 sc Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Finish stuffing the detail.

Go back to R23. Some stitches we crocheted BLO. Now we will crochet remaining front loops with sc. Crochet 8 sc on front loops, then chain 5, again 8 sc on front loops and chain 5, slip stitch to join in the end. Thus we've got a blouse with straps. R E I S E P A G E 2

a blouse with straps. R E I S E P A G E 2

Wings: Work with Pink yarn R1: 6 sc in MR R2: (1 sc, inc) * 3 (9) R3: BLO 9 sc R4: (2 sc, inc) * 3 (12) R5: BLO 12 sc R6: (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18) R7: BLO 18 sc R8: (2 sc, inc) * 6 (24) R9: BLO 24 sc R10: (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30) R11: BLO (4 sc, inc) * 6 (36) R12: 36 sc R13: BLO 36 sc R14-17 (4 rounds): 36 sc R18: (4 sc, dec) * 6 (30) R19: 30 sc R20: (3 sc, dec) * 6 (24) R21: 24 sc R22: (2 sc, dec) * 6 (18) R23: 18 sc R24: (1 sc, dec) * 6 (12) Fasten off, close the hole. Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Don't stuff the wings. R E I S E P A G E 2

Feathers: When the wing is ready, start to crochet the feathers. Begin from the top. R13 (where we crocheted BLO): we will crochet around with light pink color yarn using remaining front loops (hold top of the detail towards yourself and crochet counterclockwise). Join yarn into the first front loop, make a chain of 5, and crochet on that chain: sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, sc next 3 ch. The first feather is ready. R E I S E P A G E 2

Make a slip stitch into the next front loop of the R13. Then make a slip stitch into the next stitch again. Thus we will always have a slip stitch between the feathers. Finish whole round using above pattern. Crochet next round the same way only with White color. We have 6 rounds totally, so alternate the colors: light pink white brown light pink white brown When all feathers are ready you can steam them with the iron and straighten. Thus they won t curl up and will look more esthetic.

Legs: Start working with White yarn as for the baby booties sole. R1: make a chain of 12, dc into the 4th ch from the hook, dc in next 5 ch, dc inc in next ch, tr inc in next ch, 6 tr into the last ch. Working on other side of beginning chain: tr inc, dc inc in next ch, 6 dc, sl st. R2: ch 3, dc inc, 6 dc, dc inc, 2 tr, 7 tr inc, 2 tr, dc inc, 6 dc, dc inc (39) R3-5: ch 1, BLO 39 sc

Don t make slip stitch in the end of R5 R6: 6 sc, (1 sc, dec) * 9, 6 sc (30) Change yarn color to Pink. R7: BLO 30 sc R8: 9 sc, 9 dec, 9 sc (24) R9: 6 sc, 6 dec, 6 sc (18) R10: 3 sc, 6 dec, 3 sc (12) Stuff the detail tight. R11-40 (30 rounds): 12 sc Fasten off, close the hole. I didn't stuff the detail to the top. Only bottom (shoe). Crochet the straps to the front loops of R7. Each strap is a chain of 50. Make two for each leg. Hide yarn tails. Tie them around the legs, and make a bow at the back.

Crown: Use Yellow cotton yarn for crown. I used Yarn Art Begonia and hook 1,5mm. R1: 12 sc in MR, slip stitch. R2-5 (4 rounds): ch 1, 12 sc, sl st in the end Continue to crochet crown top (peaks). For the first peak ch 5. Than crochet on the chain: sl st, 1 sc, 2 dc. Then we skip one stitch and make a slip stitch ito the next st, make a chain of 5 ch for the next peak and repeat pattern. We should have 6 peaks totally.

There is a soul in handmade things!

Skirt: Cut the tulle to even stripes (12x3 cm/4,7x1,18 in). Take thin elastic, measure out how much you need for skirt, sew or tie the ends together. For convenience, put elastic on the jar. Attach stripes to the elastic one by one until it is filled to the end.

Hooray!!! You can jump and dance, as the first the longest part is ready! The most interesting things are ahead!

Well, our flamingo is almost ready. The main thing is to collect all your patience, concentrate on the process of sewing all the details together and add your imagination to achieve the best results! I m sure they will exceed all your expectations.

Assembly

Sew head to the body previously securing it with pins. Sew details by taking loops of the body first, then head, alternately. When we have small hole left, stuff the area between head and body tight enough, so our head don't hang out. Then sew details to the end.

In the center of the head sew the beak previously securing it with pins. When there is a small hole left, stuff it with fiber and finish sewing. Sew the beak securely, so it keeps its shape well.

At the top of the head, on its side, sew the crown. Sew the crown securely, so it keeps its shape well.

With the help of the pins define the places for eyes. Sew the eyes with black sewing thread. You can embroider eyelashes and eyebrows if you wish.

On the sides of the body we will sew the wings, also previously securing them with pins. They should be symmetric.

I sewed the legs symmetrically on the sides of the body (I stuffed only the bottom part of the legs). But you can use thread or button joint (it this case you should stuff legs to the top). To do it you will need a cotton thread and two buttons of a suitable size. Watch video: https://youtu.be/zz7_qyiqnuw https://youtu.be/l22hr9qprsw

Put on the skirt and our ballerina Flo is ready!

Art is infectious, spread it around!

Well, my little friend, our little adventure has come to the end. I hope that you are satisfied with the result! And you will come back to get new emotions. Diana Patskun
