CAUTION: BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION REVIEW LAYOUT DRAWINGS, AND SHIPMENT. MAKE SURE ALL LIGHT S AND MATERIALS ARE ON SITE AND READILY ACCESSIBLE. IF ANY ICON MATERIALS ARE MISSING, CONTACT ICON INTERNATIONAL BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION. LIGHT S MUST BE COMPLETELY INSTALLED PRIOR TO CEILING CONSTRUCTION For ease of installation and maintenance, the Eclipse Wall Wash Lighting System is shipped in two parts: light fixture housings and drop-in light fixture strips. All light fixture housings should be installed first. Once all light fixture housings are installed, light strips can be dropped into required location. Each fixture installation is custom designed and engineered by ICON s engineering department. With every order, a lighting fixture layout is provided by ICON. SEE LAYOUT DRAWING EXAMPLE for typical layout designations. Every layout provided by ICON includes detailed information as to how the system should be installed. Every housing and drop in light strip is labeled to match the lighting system layout provided by ICON. Prior to beginning installation of the lighting system, review the lighting fixture layout provided by ICON. Fixture rows should be built from left to right using the fixtures designated on the provided lighting fixture layout drawings To ease installation, before beginning lighting fixture installation, locate required fixture numbers, as indicated on layout drawing, and move to location to be installed. Line up fixture cartons on floor under the ceiling location they are to be installed. 11 NUMBER 19 WALL SIDE 15 LEFT END INSTALL FIRST MID INSTALL SECOND TRIMMABLE INSTALL LAST DROP IN LIGHT S31A S31B S41A T41B STRIP NUMBER INSTALL LEFT END CAP WALL SIDE (INSTALL S FROM LEFT TO RIGHT) INSTALL RIGHT END CAP WALL SIDE LAYOUT DRAWING EXAMPLE REV DESCRIPTION DATE BY Description: PRIME 44 WW 2120 SNAP IN STRIP Sheet 1 of 15

STEP 1 INSTALL JTRIM A. On left side of fixture row, install first piece of J-trim. Each fixture is supplied with a corresponding length of J- trim which is included in the fixture carton. Before beginning J-trim installation, remove all J-trim from cartons and position in appropriate locations. J-trim must be installed 2-13/16" above ceiling line. J-trim must be installed 1 ½" in from end of fixture row to allow for end cap. Install J-trim to wall using self drilling screws (by others). All screws must be installed into structure suitable for supporting fixture weight (such as wall stud). J-TRIM MUST BE INSTALLED LEVEL B. Install remaining fixture J-trim pieces, except for last fixture. All J-trim should be installed to butt against and level with the previous installed J-trim. C. The last piece J-trim will need to be field trimmed to proper length. After all other J-trim has been installed, measure remaining opening. Subtract 1 ½" from this measurement to determine the proper cut length. D. Using an appropriate tool cut the last piece of J-trim to the proper cut length determined in Step C. Install the cut J- trim piece in the same manner as previous J-trim pieces. When all J-trim pieces have been installed, they should look like the figure INSTALLED J-TRIM - EXAMPLE shown below. STEP 2 INSTALL LIGHT SUPPORT WIRES A. Each fixture to be installed is supported by the previously installed J-trim (by Icon) and by wire ties (by others). The wire ties must be attached to the structural ceiling. Each fixture requires the following number of wire ties: 8 fixtures 3 wire ties per fixture 6 Fixtures 3 wire ties per fixture 4 Fixture 2 wire ties per fixture 3 Fixture 2 wire ties per fixture 2 Fixture 2 wire ties per fixture (See WIRE TIE LOCATIONS EXAMPLE for details.) B. All wire ties should be installed a maximum of 8 ½ from the wall on which the J-trim was installed. Wire ties should be of adequate length to allow installation of fixture. (See WIRE TIE POSITION diagram for details) C. Install wire ties above first fixture. The first wire tie should be installed 1" from left wall. (See WIRE TIE LOCATIONS - EXAMPLE for details) D. Install remaining wire ties as dictated by fixture layout. Only one (1) wire tie is required at all light fixture joints. (See WIRE TIE LOCATIONS - EXAMPLE for details) E. Wire ties will be installed at the end of each fixture. For 8 and 6 fixtures, the middle wire tie will be installed at the center of the fixture.
