There are also personal revelations in this book which I thought were handled nicely. There is foreshadowing of future events and I am excited to see what happens. Although there is a paranormal element, the very real emotions give very touching moments. I strongly recommend this book!i received a free copy in return for an honest review As always this book did not disappoint me. Constance Barker is an excellent writer and I will always follow her. This book kept up with the previous books. The characters were well developed and the
plot was flowing. An excellent read and hopefully there will be a next one. I read the book in a day in a half, I could have read it in a day but life got in the way...i have received this as arc member and am reviewing it as an honest review... I recieved an ARC copy of this book in return for an honest review. This is book three of the series. We get to learn more about Bailey's parents and the caves. I totally loved this book. Once I started reading I couldnt put it down till I finished it. Constance Barker has written another great book. It is a must read for everyone! I received this book free for a honest review. In this book I was so excited to see the main character Bailey growing and maturing in her magic and her relationships with her family and friends. This book is exciting, fun and very enjoyable. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys mysteries and magic and intrigue. This third book in a Series could be read alone but I know once you read this one you will just have to go back and read the other two. Loved the book! So much is revealed, so much more to come! The story was well written and suspenseful to keep you involved. Looking forward to Bailey and Aiden getting to know each other. I received this book as an ARC member in exchange for an honest review. That was easy to do as the book/series is a great read. I highly recommend the Constance Baker series. This is the third book in the series about Bailey becoming a witch and learning the secrets of the Caves. It is one series you definitely need to read in order, otherwise there will be more confusion than fun in resolving the mysterious death of Professor Owen Turner. When Bailey goes to the Caves to practice meditating, she arouses herself and finds a strange man is entering the Caves. Archeologist Owen Turner has come by invitation to study the caves. While it makes Bailey nervous to have him examining the Caves, she shares folklore and information about the Caves. She finds Professor Turner quite likeable. Unfortunately, someone else doesn't agree with her assessment, and murders him. Circumstantial evidence makes Bailey's father, Ryan, look guilty and he is arrested for the crime. Desperate to find the true murderer and absolve Ryan from blame, Bailey enlists her friends to help investigate. What follows is a little magic, a lot of friendship, and an investigation complete with odd spells on the guards of the crime scene.this magical story is a good mystery as well as a great story about friendships. It is a clean read that is good for all ages. I can't wait until the next book comes out so we can learn more about the Caves and Bailey's life, as well
as the changes in Piper and Avery's lives as well!i received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The author provided me with an ARC of this book in return for a thoughtful review.this is the third book in the series, so things are really starting to line up. At the beginning, Bailey can tell that lots of people are keeping secrets from her. Then she meets a new friend, who ends up dead. When her father is framed for that death, everyone has to come together to make sure he is exonerated. By the end, everything is fine, and everything has changed. It will be interesting to see what is next, especially since Bailey uncovered a large secret that can affect most of the relationships that she has with the people in her life, especially Aiden. The secret is exactly what I have suspected all along, so it is great that Bailey now knows too. Book 3 adds another dimension to Bailey's magical world, as well as her personal life. Every new facet fit in perfectly with the storyline. It was great that Piper was in more of this book. I've now grown to like her almost as much as the other characters. The mystery flowed along smoothly and revealed more twists to the caves. Other secrets were also revealed which will bring an extra layer to future books. While all the books end with a teaser for the next book, the mystery is solved. My only gripe, was the mystery reveal was lacking details and felt rushed. The whole book is intriguing and detailed. Then the big reveal comes and it seems like it's just stuck in there as a side note. I'm enjoying this series and looking forward to book 4.
