IB Film Production Portfolio Assessment Individual Project Template Title of Film: Me Montage Production Role: Editor URL of Film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo0udjah3ns&feature=youtu.be Log Line: (One sentence, less than 20-30 words total): Odalyz is an IB student who has various interests. This is presented through an entertaining way by having an assortment of clips. They should walk away knowing of Odalyz s interests. Pre-p roduction Paragraph: During the pre-production phase of the film I brainstormed with my team about ideas and intention of each person. I the made notions on the storyboard on how I wanted to edit the film. I then started looking around to find which editing software would work best for me and would provide the best final product and the program I decided on was Davinci. I then talked to the rest of my team and started going over the screenplay making notes on what we wanted to edit in or take out and make any changes to the screenplay. I then talked to the cinematographer making sure that they would leave wiggle room for the cuts. Finally, I talked with our sound editor to decide what type of music would work the best for the film. Production Paragraph: During the production, I would work with my team on any new updates that were made to the script and storyboard. Then I would download the footage shot from that day and get a rough edit for the film. I then would collaborate with everyone else from my team and decide what we should add to the rough edit to make it better weather this be to add a new edit in or take a part out. While doing this I made a log of what we were doing each day and what we had accomplished.

Post-Production Paragraph: During post-production I worked with the rest of my team on making the final film. First, I created a final rough edit and showed it to the team then we decided on weather we should leave it as be or change it. This allowed me to get ideas of what we wanted the film to look like. After that I took the rough edit and made any changes and showed it to my team and got the approval for the final edit. After this I talked to my sound editor and got the sound clips and matched it up with the clip. After this I showed the final edit with the sound and all the edits to my team and got any final changes that we thought should be changed. Production Role Equipment List: List all equipment, including hardware and software 1. Davinci resolve 2. Soundtrap 3.
