Sharing similarities in culture, Vietnamese and Korean are both interested in promoting our relationship and cooperation. For the pass 20 years, bilateral trade between Vietnam - Korea grew up 40 times ($0.49 bil. in 1992 to $21 bil. in 2012). (#4 ranking of trade partner in the global) Korea becomes the #1 foreign investor in Vietnam. By the end of 2012 Korean FDI projects in Vietnam with total registered capital of $26 bil. Over 100,000 of Korean are living and working for Korean FDI Co. and JV Co. in Vietnam. And the similar Vietnamese in Korea. Source: MPI

10-year evaluation of Vietnam & Korea Cooperation in S&T Korea is becoming an important partner of S&T cooperation prioritizing in Vietnam. Number of S&T organizations participates in cooperative S&T programs is getting increased As a result of the cooperation, many technologies are efficiently transferred to Vietnam. Vietnamese S&T has been learning considerably from its partner Korea in knowledge as well as in execution.

The prospects of S&T cooperation between Vietnam and Korea is very great. A very bright future is waiting ahead for both countries. Thanks a lot to Korean Org., Officers, Managers, Business.
