It takes real discipline to put away the work, the distractions, and especially the technology. Find a way to ensure you have at least one anti-productivity FBOT on your calendar every week. You may thank me later when you don t have a nervous breakdown. #2 Plan a Replacement Activity When you decide to do nothing, what you re really doing is replacing one activity with another.

7 The key is to choose the right replacement. From my perspective, that means choosing an activity that rejuvenates you, that replenishes you, that breathes life back into you. When you decide to walk away from work, at the same time you must walk towards relaxation with just as much purpose and intentionality. #3 Drink more liquids.
