Box 932 Claremont, CA 91711 www.pvaa.net POMONA VALLEY ART JUNE 2015 ASSOCIATION 34th Annual Open Juried ART SHOW May 8-24, 2015 2015 PVAA OJS: A HUGE SUCCESS Our 34th Annual Open Juried Show has been a huge success, a record number of visitors have stopped by our two show venues across from our Gallery SOHO. Many are just walking by, they stop, take a second look, then come inside for a closer look at the beautiful artwork. The positive response has been overwhelming, many expressing their gratitude of having an art gallery in the Mall. Our move to the Montclair Plaza Mall in February has not only increased the number visitors to our Gallery SOHO and the annual show (May 8th-24th), but also increased artist s sales. Virtually every square inch of wall space was needed to accommodate the more than 150 artist s entries for the 34th OJS. < Interesting photo! It was necessary to isolate every entry so the judge could easily evaluate each individual piece of art. This became the most practical way to quickly accomplish this. 2

ANY VERY LARGE ARTWORK THAT WOULD NEED TO BE DELIVERED TO THE GALLERY THROUGH THE PUBLIC MALL HALLWAY AND WOULD OTHERWISE REQUIRE A HAND TRUCK OR SIMILAR VEHICLE, WILL NEED TO BE TRANSPORTED THROUGH THE UNEXPOSED MAINTENANCE HALLWAY.
