UBER AS FAST AS YOU CAN

FADE IN: INT. CAR - DAY The (30s) sits in the driver's seat of his car, waiting. He rolls down the passenger window. (O.S.) You're the Uber? Yes. (O.S.) Yeah, guys, this is it. The front and back passenger doors open. (20s), a beautiful, excited and nervous young woman gets in the front passenger seat. Her friends, the social (20s), and the urgent-mannered (20s), who has her phone in her hand, climb in back. I told you this was the Uber. I wanted to make sure! You got the address? I did that right? Yeah, I got it. 4100 Cahuenga Boulevard? Like I said, I got it. Sorry, this is just my first time using Uber. It was almost ten minutes ago when Michaela texted saying she took his order. I know, I know. We're in a hurry.

2. I'm going as fast as I can without putting our lives, or my car, at risk. Okay, okay. It's just that this could be a big opportunity for me. The director of an upcoming movie with a large ensemble cast is eating at this restaurant. So you're an actress then? Obviously, I mean look at her! Aw, Hudson. How long do you think it's going to be? I don't know. See, Sarah, this is why you need a car. Moments like this. But that's so expensive! I can just take a bus to and from work and it costs so little! And what about when you need to go somewhere else? I use Uber! This is working just fine. Remember, in a hurry. But do you really want to just ride everywhere in some random person's car? No offense, your car is lovely.

3. Oh my god, the traffic! Hudson and Andrea look out the windows. Oh, wow! Well, we're taking the 101 into the valley at 6:00 on a Thursday, this is what you get. Well why are you taking the 101 then? It's the fastest way. This can't be the fastest way! It's hardly moving! It is. I'll Google it to make sure. Hudson pulls out his phone. Michaela just texted. She's just served him his food. Oh my god, we'll never make it! I'll get you there as fast as I can. There's no way that this is the fastest. It's hardly moving! Well, I don't know what to tell you. Sarah, he's right. This is the fastest way. I can't believe it.

4. Well, the traffic here sucks. Yeah, I know, but this is bad. This actually isn't bad. This is good? Well, not good. But it isn't bad. Why do so many people live down here? It's crowded, expensive, and so hot during the summer! Yeah, and it's hot in here. Could you turn up the AC? Guys, I'm getting a call from Michaela. Answer it, and put it on speaker! Hey. Hey, Andrea, could you hand the phone to Sarah, she isn't answering. You're on speaker. Oh, ok. Awesome. So, where are you guys? Are you going to be here soon? We're on the 101. There's a lot of traffic. Oh, that's not good. Why?

5. This guy's eating fast. You're really going to need to hurry to catch him. Yeah, I don't know if that's going to happen. We'll make it. We'll do it. I have to go. It's getting busier. Ok. Well we should be there soon. I hope. Sarah rests her head up against the window. (CONT'D) Any chance this is going to clear up? It isn't likely. This traffic is moving so slow, you would probably get there faster walking. Yeah, probably. Hey, it's not that far, and I'm mostly in shape. I'll jog there. Sarah opens her door. You can't be serious. I am. You're going to jog down the freeway? Are you crazy? Yes! I am crazy! I'm crazy about becoming an actress. I really, really want this. And here I have a possible opportunity in front of me. (MORE)

6. (CONT'D) So, you know what, I'm going to do something crazy, if that's what it takes. Could you please shut the door? I will. Just as soon as I get out of this car. Sarah begins to get out of the car. Sarah, wait. What is it? Michaela just texted. He's paying. Oh. Sarah gets back in the car and closes the door. It is completely silent in the car for a long moment. So, where are you going now? I don't know. It feels like I'm not going anywhere, all of these opportunities just close up so quickly-- No, I mean where am I taking you? Oh. Back home I guess. FADE OUT
