J-1484 Bears with Eggs Materials Needed OPAQUE STAINS: Deep Brown, Walnut, Medium Brown, Country Gold, Dark Blond, Confederate Gray, Vanilla, White, Night Blue, Sky Blue, Turquoise, Periwinkle, Victorian Green, Electric Blue, YELLOW MIS: 5:1 Dark Blond and Marigold. PINK MIX: 1:!:!:2 Christmas Red, Bright Orange, Hot Pink and Soft Pink. PREPARATION: Slip attach feet to cuddle bears and mend to disguise. Slip attach bunny head if desired. Retexture textured seam lines with the TL-9 Texture Tool. Fire to cone 05. BASCECOAT: All pieces with Deep Brown. DRYBRUSH: Bear s fur areas, bunnies and all white areas as follow: 3 to 4 coats of Walnut followed with 2 to 3 coats of Medium Brown. Continue the bear s fur areas as follows: 1 to 2 coats of Country Gold, followed with Vanilla to highlight. Blush bear s cheeks lightly with Peach Blush. Drybrush all the white areas with 3 to 4 coats of Vanilla followed with 1 to 2 coats of White. Blush Bunnies cheeks, ears and nose lightly with Peach Blush. NOTE: Before going on to the next color for example, doing all yellow areas and then beginning the pink areas, it may be necessary to re-basecoat the area that has been over-drybrushed with the yellow with Deep Brown before beginning with the pink. DRYBRUSH: yellow AREAS WITH 3 TO 4 COATS OF THE Yellow Mix followed with 2 to 3 coats of Dark Blond followed with Vanilla to highlight. PINK areas with 2 to 3 coats of the Pink Mix followed with 3 to 4 coats more adding more and more Vanilla to the mix with each coat. BLUE areas with 1 to 2 coats of Night Blue followed with 2 coats of Sky Blue and 2 coats of Turquoise. Highlight with Vanilla in your brush. PURPLE areas with 2 to 3 coats of Periwinkle followed with 2 coats of Periwinkle and Vanilla mixed adding more Vanilla in the second coat. Drybrush daisy stems with Victorian Green followed with Vanilla to highlight. PAINT: Eyes on all bunnies and bears using Electric Blue and Turquoise with Confederate Gray.

YELLOW MIX: 5:1 Dark Blond and Marigold. Black and White. PREPARATION: Slip attach all feet to Cuddles, mend to disguise. Retexture textured seam lines using the TL-9 Texture Tool, fire to cone 05. BASECOAT: All pieces with Deep Brown. DRYBRUSH: Bear s fur areas, pie crust, baseball glove and any white areas with 3 to 4 coats of Walnut followed with 2 to 3 coats of Medium Brown. Continue the bear s fur area and pie crust with 1 to 2 coats of Country Gold followed with Vanilla to highlight. Dry brush bear s cheeks lightly with Peach Blush. Drybrush glove with Auburn, highlight lightly with Vanilla. Drybrush all other colors as follows. NOTE: It may be necessary to re-basecoat with Deep Brown areas that have been over-drybrushed before continuing with the next color. WHITE: 2 to 3 coats of Vanilla followed with 1 to 2 coats of White. SNOWFLAKES: 1 coats of Night Blue followed with 2 to 3 coats of Sky Blue followed with White to highlight. BLUE: 1 to 2 coats of Night Blue followed with 2 to 3 coats of Sky Blue followed with 1 to 2 coats of Turquoise, highlight with Vanilla. PINK: 2 to 3 coats of the Pink mix followed with 2 to 3 coats of the mix adding more and more Vanilla to each coat to lighten. ORANGE: 2 to 3 coats of Bright Orange followed with 1 to 2 coats of Pumpkin, blush cheeks with Peach Blush. GREEN: 2 coats of Victorian Green followed with Vanilla to highlight. PINK: 3 to 4 coats of the Pink Mix followed with 2 to 3 coats of Vanilla added to the mix, more Vanilla with each coat.

PAINT: Pie tin and all noses with Black, drybrush with Confederate Gray. Paint all eyes using Electric Blue and Turquoise for eyes using Electric Blue and Turquoise for the irises. Paint all other detail as desired. SPECIALTIES: Pearl Finish, Water Base Gold and Opal Glitter It. TRANSLUCENT STAINS: Glistening Brown. MISC: 1/2yrd. Tulle and rhinestones. PREPARATION: While cast is still damp cut out oblong slot behind brides crown if you are using tulle for a veil. Retexture all textured seamlines using the TL-9 texture tool. Fire to cone 05. BASECOAT: All bear fu areas and boys shirts and shirt cuffs with Deep Brown. DRYBRUSH: All Deep Brown areas with 3 to 4 coats of Walnut followed with 2 to 3 coats of Medium Brown. Continue with 1 to 2 coats of Country Gold, followed with Vanilla to highlight. Finish shirt and cuffs with 2 more coats of Vanilla followed with 1 to 2 coats of White. BASECOAT: Grooms hat band, tie and cummerbund with Deep Brown. DRYBRUSH: These Deep Brown areas carefully with 2 coats of Burgundy followed with 1 light coat of Crimson. BASECOAT: Vanilla to brides gown and crown and Old Rose to the roses. ANTIQUE: Antique brides gown, crown and roses with Glistening Brown, wipe off excess with a soft cloth. DRYBRUSH: Gowns and crowns with 3 to 4 coats of Vanilla followed with 1 to 2 coats of White. Roses with 2 to 3 coats of Old Rose followed with 2 coats with Vanilla in your brush to highlight.

BASECOAT: Rose leaves with Woodlands and bears noses, grooms hat, jacket, shirt buttons and pants carefully and neatly with Black. DRYBRUSH: All black areas evenly with a small amount of White mixed with Black. Drybrush jacket buttons with Water Base Gold and Black mixed. Drybrush Hot Pink to rose buttoneer, highlight with Vanilla. Drybrush rose leaves with Celery. SHADE: Bears fur areas with Deep Brown if desired for more definition and shade gowns, crowns and roses with Walnut if desired. PAOINT: Eyes and eyelashes using Electric Blue for the irises. Paint Pearl Finish to all areas of brides gown you want to look satin. Paint Opal Glitter It to brides flowers. FINISH: Iron tulle if necessary. Fold material selvaged ends together and then fold in half raw edges together. Have a needle and thread ready and take the top layer and fold it over to the folded edge; take the bottom layer and fold it under the folded edge. About 4 inches from the pointed end hand stitch across to gather. Gather and secure. Fluff out veil and tuck the stitched area in the slot in back of the brides crown. Using three pearl ended hat pins, pin puff of tulle evenly at top of crown. Pinning into the slot. Cake top bride veil Is done the same using less material and gluing in place. Use one small pearl ended pin to secure tulle puff. Glue Rhinestones in place as shown. SPECIALTIES: Crystal Ice Glimmerz, Regency Gold and Opal Glitter It. PREPARATION: After removing cast from mold slip attach feet. Retexture textured seamlines using the TL-9 texture tool. Fire to cone 05. BASECOAT: Bunnies as follows: White bunnies Vanilla. Brown bunnies next to white bunnies Walnut. Double brown bunnies Country Gold. These basecoats are as shown on the flyer. NOTE: For ease and simplicity you may want to basecoat all pieces with Deep Brown and drybrush bunnies fur as the bear fur in the bride and groom bear instructions adding a couple extra coats of Country Gold. Follow instructions for colors on other areas in this set of instructions. ANTIQUE: White bunnies, Walnut bunnies and Country Gold bunnies with Glistening Brown. Wipe off excess with a soft cloth. DRYBRUSH: White bunnies with 3 to 4 coats of Vanilla followed with 2 coats of White, blush cheek, insides of ears and noses lightly with Peach Blush. Walnut bunnies with 1 to 2 coats of Walnut followed with 2 to 3 coats of Medium Brown. Follow with 1 coat of Country Gold, highlight lightly with Vanilla. Blush cheeks, insides of ears and noses with Peach Blush. Country Gold bunnies with 2 to 3 coats of Country Gold followed with 1 coats of Warm Beige, highlight lightly with Vanilla and then lightly with White. Blush cheeks, noses and insides of ears with Peach Blush. AIRBRUSH: Black spots to white bunnies as desired. REBASECOAT: Color to areas as follows: DeepBrown Pumpkins and orange bow, basket of strawberries, strawberries and stack of books. Walnut to all yellow, pink and blue areas, sails, sailor hat, string, whipped cream, Christmas cookies and pie crusts. Burgundy To all red areas. Sherwood Green To green bows and oven mitt. Black To black balloon, black bows, party hats, wtiches hat and cookie tray. DRYBRUSH: Strawberry basket with Walnut, drybrush strawberry leaves with Sherwood green followed with Victorian Green, highlight lightly with Vanilla. Drybrush strawberries with Burgundy followed with 2 to 3 coats of Christmas Red, highlight with Bright Orange. Drybrush all burgundy areas with 2 to 3 coats of Christmas Red. Drybrush Yellow areas with 2 coats of Marigold Yellow followed with Dark Blond and then Vanilla in your brush to highlight. Using Hot Pink drybrush pink areas on the beachball cuddle bunnies 2 coats, follow with 1 to 2 coats of Soft Pink, highlight with Vanilla. Watering can and Sept. boy bunny cuddles bow drybrush with 2 coats of Night Blue followed with 2 coats of Sky Blue. Lightly highlight with Vanilla. All other blue areas are drybrushed with 2 coats of Electric Blue highlighted with Vanilla. Cookie tray with 2 coats of

Confederate Gray. Sails, whipped cream, cookies, and book pages drybrush with Medium Brown followed with Country Gold, highlight pie crust and cookies with Vanilla. Continue sails, sailor hat, string and whipped topping with more coats of Vanilla followed with White. Drybrush Bright Orange to pumpkins and orange bow and orange on beachball. Follow with Dark Blond then Vanilla to pumpkin and bow and only Vanilla to beachball. Drybrush Victorian Green to pumpkin stem and leaves, oven mitt and frosting on cookies and green bows. Lightly highlight with Vanilla. Drybrush black balloon, wtiches hat and bows with a very light coat of Confederate Gray. Drybrush shovel and spatula with Waterbase Silver. Drybrush Orange/Red bow on November Cuddle with Autumn Rust mixed with Christmas Red. PAINT: Detail as shown. Paint Autumn Rust to pie filling, lightly drybrush with Country Gold. Paint Burgundy to every other square of the oven mitt, drybrush with Christmas Red. SHADE: To give the pieces more definition shade with Deep Brown. PAINT: Regency Gold Glitter It to black areas of Jan. and Oct. cuddles. Paint Crystal Ice Glimmerz to trim on Dec. cuddle hat. Eyes and eyelashes using Electric Blue for the irises.
