Sve the Sill dpter for reinstlltion in future step. /
6 REMOVL - Continued d e LTCHED OPEN LTCH OPENING FLNGE FLNGE SSEMBLY From the interior of the sreen ssemly, with the sreen extended nd in the lthed position, remove the three srews from the Srew Flnge on the Sreen Housing side. d Unlth nd open the inset sreen. Remove the three srews on the Srew Flnge on the Lth Housing side, supporting the sreen ssemly s needed. e Crefully tip nd lift Sreen ssemly out of Door Opening nd ple it flt, with the interior side fing up, on non-rsive surfe. f g ENDCP RECEIVING TB SLIDES INSIDE TRCK TUBING FLT BLDE DRIVER FSTENER CLIP (IN CLOSED POSITION) TRCK FSTENER CLIP (IN OPEN POSITION) f On endp, with Flt Blde Srewdriver, pply downwrd pressure on the Fstener Clip nd rotte into the open position. f Repet this step for endp C. g With oth Fstener Clips in the open position, refully slide the Sreen Housing off of oth Sreen Trks (sides nd C).
HNDLE REMOVL & REINSTLLTION Tools Reommended: Srewdriver PULL PULL LTCH PLTE HNDLE S LTCH HOOK HNDLE EXTERIOR HNDLE LTCH CHNNEL From the interior side of the existing Sreen Housing, remove the two Hndle Srews with Phillips srewdriver. Crefully pulling the hndles from the Sreen Pull. Remove the Lth Plte from the Lth Chnnel on the Sreen Pull. Set side Lth Plte, Hndles nd Hndle Srews for reinstlltion. PULL SIDE HNDLE d PULL HNDLE SPINDLES SIDE LTCH PLTE HNDLE S LTCH HOOK TO LTCH CHNNEL HNDLE LTCH PLTE EXTERIOR HNDLE From the interior side of the replement Sreen Housing, with the Lth Plte in the proper orienttion, ple it into the enter of the Lth Chnnel on the Sreen Pull. d Ple the Exterior Hndle on the exterior side of Sreen Pull, refully sliding the Hndle Spindles through the Lth Plte. d Ple the Interior Hndle onto the interior side of the Sreen Pull, ligning the Hndle Spindles s you slide them together. d Instll the two Hndle Srews in the Interior Hndle. 4

Leving the sreen in the retrted position, rrnge the omponents so the letters mrked on the Sreen Trks nd the letters mrked on the Endps lign ( to, nd C to C). Confirm the Fstener Clips on endps nd C re in the open position. Strting t orner, slide the Reeiving T on Endp inside the Sreen Trk. Mke sure the Reeiving T fits inside the Sreen Trk, nd the Sreen Trk slides into the Chnnel. (see orret ove). Repet the step for orner C. (Visit ndersenluminire.om/instll to view video of this step.) With the interior of the sreen / ssemly fing the door opening, rotte the ssemly so the Sreen Housing is on the opposite side of the Door Opening Hndle. / FLNGE PLSTIC WRP SCISSORS # / FLNGE SMS Pn Pinted SSEMBLY The sreen ssemly my e nrrower thn your opening until fully expnded in the following steps. / Strt y pling the Sreen ssemly onto the exterior Trim Surfe, with the Srew Flnges extending into the Door Opening. Rest the ottom of the sreen ssemly onto your sill or support loking. Slide the sreen ssemly in the door opening until the Lth Housing side Srew Flnge is tight to the Mounting Surfe. / SURFCE d EXPND LTCH FLNGE #8 - " LTCH EXPND FLNGE SURFCE Verify the Lth Housing side Srew Flnge is tight to Mounting Surfe. lign the three holes on the Lth Housing side Srew Flnge with the three existing holes in the Mounting Surfe. With three of the #8 - " srews, fsten Lth Housing side of sreen ssemly to the Mounting Surfe. (Be reful not to over tighten) d Expnd sreen ssemly y sliding Sreen Housing side until the Srew Flnge is tight to the Mounting Surfe. 6

Ornge Instlltion Clips n ome off nd e properly disposed of. f With the Sreen Housing side Srew Flnge tight to Mounting Surfe, lign the three holes on the Sreen Housing side Srew Flnge with the three existing holes in the Mounting Surfe. f With the three remining #8 - " srews, fsten Sreen Housing to the Mounting Surfe. (Be reful not to over tighten) 5 PLCE ND FSTEN DPTER Tools Reommended: # Phillips (provided) #8 - ½" (Qty ) PCK Sill dpter TRCK DPTER CHNNEL DPTER DPTER DPTER CHNNEL DPTER DPTER #8 - / " DPTER Figure Figure Thoroughly len the Door Sill. From the interior of sreen ssemly, position Sill dpter with the textured side up nd srew holes in towrd the interior of the home. Insert edge of the Sill dpter into the dpter Chnnel loted on the Sreen Trk (see Figure ). 4 Rotte the Sill dpter down to the Door Sill to mke sure the three holes in the Sill dpter lign with the three existing holes in your Door Sill. (see Figure ). 7 Lift Sill dpter nd pply selnt into the holes until selnt overflows onto Door Sill surfe. Rotte the Sill dpter k down to the Door Sill nd fsten using three #8 - ½" Self-Tpping Srews. Clenup exess selnt.
