This included choosing the correct supplier of the software and setting up meetings with each supplier to receive estimates of costs. I had to manage meetings with all managers involved in development of the project plan to coordinate implementation at each site. I had to develop an understanding of each entity s financial and manufacturing processes to tailor the software in certain areas to fit in with the companies reporting. I had to manage meetings and convince managers on changing certain aspects of their reporting to standardise reporting practices across the board for all the companies. These included for example their Chart of Accounts and Stock systems. I employed and managed two more staff in the implementation. This was necessary due to the manipulation of date from the old system and uploading it on to the new system. Strict deadlines were set and the project was completed within these deadlines during difficult periods in the financial year (i.e. Financial Year End and Year End Audit.) I decided on implementation at one site first and after completion the same system was rolled out at the other four sites. I was responsible for the training on the new system and documented some of the training modules used by the people.
