I took on the additional duties as the Development Director from March 2011. This required me to take ownership of the delivery of Wandle s development programme which has circa 550 completions in for 2011/12. I have further secured with my team the new development agreement for Wandle HA with the Homes and Community Agency for a new development programme over the next 3 years of funding delivering circa 350 new affordable homes with 6.5m grant funding.

Being part of the management team in a short period of time I have been able to contribute significantly to the development of the association and improve the overall operating environment. 3. They employ over 10,000 people with subsidiaries across Southern Africa. I was employed by

the M&R Foundries group as System Coordinator. The Foundries group consists of 5 companies, all dealing in manufacturing for the automotive industry in South Africa. Some of their major clients are Ford Motor Company, Volkswagen SA and Paragon Metals Inc. Duties: My main duty was the implementation of a new financial package for the foundries group. The financial package was Impact Encore 5.1 (Syspro Software). I had to finalise the project plan for the implementation at the 5 companies in the group. This included choosing the correct supplier of the software and setting up meetings with each supplier to receive estimates of costs. I had to manage meetings with all managers involved in development of the project plan to coordinate implementation at each site. I had to develop an understanding of each entity s financial and manufacturing processes to tailor the software in certain areas to fit in with the companies reporting. I had to manage meetings and convince managers on changing certain aspects of their reporting to standardise reporting practices across the board for all the companies. These included for example their Chart of Accounts and Stock systems. I employed and managed two more staff in the implementation. This was necessary due to the manipulation of date from the old system and uploading it on to the new system. Special Achievements: I developed the implementation project and managed all aspects of the implementation. Budgets were established and managed to ensure that no unexpected costs were incurred. Strict deadlines were set and the project was completed within these deadlines during difficult periods in the financial year (i.e. Financial Year End and Year End Audit.) I decided on implementation at one site first and after completion the same system was rolled out at the other four sites. I was responsible for the training on the new system and documented some of the training modules used by the people. This project challenged my ability to organize and coordinate a large project, especially since it included different sites across South Africa. I was also placed in situations where I had to resolve conflict and persuade people of the advantages of implementing a new system. 7. In working for such a small and new company one gets involved in a variety of tasks within the business, and I gave a great deal of support to the Office Manager in the daily running of the office and the people working for the company.
