2013 is here! Most of us are asking, Where did 2012 go? I still find it hard to believe it s been 2 years since I began this chapter in my life. I have been very blessed with the support I have received from each of you. Without the support of YOU, Thimble Towne would not be the store it is today. For that I Thank You for your loyalty, words of encouragement, and support. The class schedule is now online and you can register for classes beginning Friday, January 4 th. Our webmaster is currently adding a calendar tab to the website. This will allow you download your own copy of the class schedule and a copy of the 4 month calendar. We have a great lineup of classes to kick off the New Year. In addition to Beginning Quilting 101, Free Motion Quilting The Basics, we have added new quilt projects, placemat and table runner classes, and embroidery classes. Strip Club 2013 will kick off with a great new quilt, X Factor. We have chosen to use jewel tone fabrics from Jenny Beyer. The quilt is simply stunning and has received rave reviews from customers who have already seen it hanging in the shop. Strip Club is offered each month, January through October, on either a Saturday or Tuesday. There is no charge to attend class. You may choose to come each month or pick and choose the months that interest you the most. We do a different project each month, using 2 ½ strips or fat quarters. Don t miss out on all the fun we have or the great projects we offer. In April, Thimble Towne will begin a 5 month embroidered block of the month called Feathered Star. This will be a hands on class offered twice per month. In the end you will have pieced, embroidered and quilted your quilt ALL in your embroidery hoop!
