This pttern provides informtion on how to construct the block nd how to construct the quilt, however, it cnnot determine very specific quilt sizes. These shpes re cut the grooved ruler nd will ctully hve the modified point t the top nd ngled cuts t the lower corners. Plese be sure nd cut round the grooved ruler completely, s this will relly help piecing these spcer units. 3
Directions For ech str inside hexgon, you will need to mke (6) Dimond In A Tringle (DIT) units. Plese refer to the video on our website for informtion on the direction to press ech hlf-hexgon block. Row 1 Row 1: Cut (4) tringles from your grooved DIT ruler. Mke hlfhexgon (3) DIT units. Arrnge the tringles nd hlf-hex into the row. Join nd press sems down. Row 2: Mke (3) hlfhexgon blocks (3) DIT units ech. Arrnge the hlf-hex blocks the wy you see them here. Sew then together nd then press the joining sems up. Row 3: Cut (2) tringle pieces the grooved DIT ruler. Arrnge the (3) hlf-hex blocks & both tringle units s you see here nd then join them together. Press the joining sems down. Row 2 Row 3 This is hlf of one Seven Sisters block. For the remining rows, press the joining sems s follows: Row 4 is pressed up Row 5 is pressed down Row 6 is pressed up Join rows 1-3, mtching sems t intersections nd stop. Press the verticl sem open. This is hlf of the Seven Sisters block. Join rows 4-6 nd stop. Agin, press the verticl sems open. Rows 4-6 re the other hlf of the block. Mke s mny Seven Sisters block s you need for your quilt top. 4

Cut strip width mesurement h. 2. Mke first cut 60 ngle on ruler, such s 6 x 12. 3. Mesure (width t bottom of tringle) nd mke the next cut 60 ngle. Both ngles should meet together t the top point. 4. Use the corners of your Bloc Loc grooved ruler s point trimmer. Trim the top point nd lso to trim the lower two corner to mke piecing esier. h 6
