To retain these natural features, there is no attempt to match either colour or grain during component manufacture. Cedar is one of the finest joinery timbers in the world and is ideally suited to staining to enhance the rich variation in natural colours. Western Red Cedar is also an excellent substrate for solid colour paint systems. Alternative Species: While Western Red Cedar is the primary focus of the Timbeck business, we are also able to provide components in other species however, this is highly dependent on sufficient volume being sought and the availability of suitable resource. All enquiries are welcome. Standard items, Non-Standard Items & Minimum Quantities The finished articles depicted in this catalogue can be assembled from appropriate individual components within the extensive range of Timber Window & Door Components manufactured by Timbeck Cedar Products. TIMBECK DOES NOT ASSEMBLE THE FINAL ARTICLES. While we endeavour to satisfy the demand for an ex-stock service from all market segments, some components may need to be produced to order. Non-standard items may also be available to order depending on quantities required please enquire for more details. Component Identification: For expediency and convenience, Timbeck has designated a range of Opening Format Codes for the various articles shown. If job requirements are ordered using these Codes, the material supplied will comprise sufficient timber components to facilitate the assembly of each article. (If required, all components are available as individual pieces as well). Hardware Requirements: In addition to the timber components, associated hardware items will be required to enable each article to operate as intended and these will require sourcing from other suppliers. For purchasers unfamiliar with suitable hardware requirements, Timbeck s brochure Window & Door Component Accesories will provide some guidance. Certification: For assemblers requiring certification status for their finished articles, Timbeck offers separately Component Identification drawings which identify individual components and their intended position within the assembled finished article. Compliance with these details when undertaken with skilled trade labour can provide assembled articles capable of certification under the requirements of AS2047.
