Paw Party Required: Let s paw-ty! Children love their pets. It s a day to celebrate our furry friends. Game Suggestions: Dog Trick Balloons- Fill several balloons with a paper with a dog trick written on it. For example roll over, bark, wag your tail, play dead, etc. Then blow up each balloon. Play Who Let the Dogs Out while the kids hit a balloon and keep it in the air until the music stops. When the music stops a teacher helps the last child who touched the balloon pop it. Everyone does the dog trick written on the paper inside! Play a game of Doggie, Doggie, Where s Your Bone. Animal Yoga- Strike a pose. Be sure to include the Angry Kitty, Downward Facing Dog and the Cobra. Charades- Play a game of animal themed charades. Kids pretend to be an animal. The other kids guess what animal they are. Bubbles- Blow and pop bubbles. Pretend to be goldfish in a tank full of bubbles. Animal Obstacle Course- Set up a challenging obstacle course. Children move through the course as they pretend to be an animal. You can pull animal names out of a bucket or let each child choose for themselves. Get Started: Hang a sign Paws to celebrate your furry friends. Come. Sit. Play. Send email reminder (sent by Corporate) and post event on Facebook.
