HVAC SYSTEM: District standard is VRF units. Would also possibly consider a ground source unit. 2. LCCA s: Include information that depicts a cost effective system that is efficient and does not introduce water back into the building. Include upfront costs that are realistic. 3. Schematic Layout C : a. Add one (1) ADA parking space to each new parking area. b. Schematic Layout C is favored by the school district as the design promotes safety by having the parent drop off and bus drop off separated. The general design of Layout C includes having a 3 lane parent / student drop off along the south and the bus drop off along the north (Widly Street.) c. Bus drop location is in a good location. It has a close proximity to the SPED classroom which accommodates one of the two busses currently in use. d. Changes Include: i. Add a staging area (Concrete with chain link fence) next to the parent drop off for student congregation while waiting to be picked up. ii. Remove median from bus drop off. 4. Media Center Floor Plan: a. Change current labels from Staff Workroom and Staff Office to Librarian Workroom and Librarian Office b. Change label from Parent Workroom to Conference Room c. Combine both Textbook Rooms into one space and label as Book Room. W ILSON & C OMPANY, INC., ENGINEERS & ARCHITECTS

Page 2 d. Divide current Parent Workroom into two sections and relocate part of the square footage into the admin area to create an additional conference room. This will allow the school to hold small meetings in the administration suite. If needed, large meetings can be held in the media center. e. The media center needs to incorporate design decisions that create a visually transparent space for ease of monitoring. f. Data and power outlets need to be included for the use of promethean boards. It was recommended by the Design Professionals to consider a drop down overhead screen and ceiling mounted projector for use in the library but further discussion will evolve during the design development phase. g. Changes Include: i. Moving the Reading / Instructional to the current location of Books / Stacks and vice versa. ii. Locate the Computer Research along the walls in order to open up center area. iii. Lower the square footage in the computer lab. Currently it is oversized. iv. Relocate emergency exits and remove bump in locations for safely concerns. 5. Kindergarten: a. The district would like to use a color pigmented concrete floor finish which utilizes Dye not Stain. The use of dark colors is NOT permitted. b. The vestibule at the north end of the building requires a vestibule by code. 6. Administration: a. Changes Include: i. Relocate the Receptionist to the current location of the Principal and vice versa. Add a pass through window directly to the receptionist. ii. Add a two hour fire rated file room. (Including ceiling.) iii. Do not include a door or wing walls in the Workroom. Make the space as open as possible. iv. Relocate the principal to be adjacent to the interior corridor. Incorporate some glazing for visual transparency to the corridor. Additionally, the district requested a physical separation from the principal s office and nurse. b. Additional Requirements: i. Parent Workroom should be located across from the teacher s lounge where the copier is currently located. ii. The counselor s office should be able to accommodate a desk and three (3) chairs. iii. The OT/PT room needs to include a poured sports flooring. Refer to Missouri Avenue for examples. iv. The Nurses area needs to include two (2) cots. One for a boy and one for a girl. 7. North Restrooms: a. Provide shared lavatories across the boys and girls restrooms on the corridor side. b. Provide a maximum 5 clearance from the toilet partitions to the adjacent walls. (Provide minimum clearances within toilet rooms. Do not add any extra SF within the space. c. Provide a 1 6 door into the plumbing chase with lighting for maintenance. 8. West Restrooms: a. Follow notes for north restrooms. 9. Food Service: W ILSON & C OMPANY, INC., ENGINEERS & ARCHITECTS

Page 3 a. Provide an overhead door in the serving area. b. Serving area needs to include a 2 4 or 2 6 pony wall below the rollup door to prevent children from touching the hot serving equipment. c. The serving area needs to include the following: i. A three compartment sink, hand wash station, electrical outlets, bollards near the exterior door (pvc w/ sand filled is acceptable). d. The district does not wants gypsum wallboard on the interior of the entire room of the food service.. 10. Storage: a. Provide a single 4 door.
