Using the Battery Charger Battery Life: Our phasers, controllers and boxes are designed for hours and hours of game time (around 16 hours). For maximum use, please turn the units OFF with the key, when not in use. To ensure you get the maximum use out of the equipment, we include, for no extra cost, rental of a battery charger. It looks like, and works pretty much the same way as a phone charger. All the phasers come charged up. So you should get around 16 hours of play time from them. But if this just isn't enough, you can re charge, & then keep on going. Please note that this is just designed for a top up. So to re charge from fully flat takes around 3 hours. DO NOT leave the phasers on charge for more than 3 hours. Usually a quick re charge of 15 30 minutes is enough to get the party going again. How to Charge a Phaser, Controller or Box 1. Turn Phaser OFF with key. 2. Plug the Charger in and turn it on. A GREEN light will show this means there s power to the charger. 3. Plug in the charger cable into the phaser. The Charger Light will change to RED. 4. During charging the red light will remain on. 5. Once the light TURNS GREEN the phaser is charged & ready for use. 6. Do not charge a unit for more than 3 hours at a time. Battery Saving Tip We suggest while you are not using your phasers, controller or boxes (e.g. while you are eating cake) that you just switch them off with the key to save the battery. This way you get to play longer & a battery re charge is probably not necessary. Using the Medic Boxes The medic boxes are designed to reactivate the phasers. If you ve ordered a standard box then the red medic box will re activate the red team only. The blue medic box can only re activate the blue team. If you ve ordered a mini box the one medic box will re activate phasers on both teams. Troubleshooting My Phaser will not tag another one! (FLAT BATTERY) If your display is blank, try re charging the battery. All the phasers are fully charged when we deliver them to you. If the battery seems to be running out of charge then simply pop the phaser on charge for 15 30 minutes. My Phaser will not tag another one! If you ordered a STANDARD BOX please note that all the phasers come pre set so the red team cannot tag other red team phasers. Red team can only tag blue team phasers. The headbands show the team colours. It is possible that the headband colours have been switched, so check on the 3rd line of the display, the blue banded phaser should say "1B" and the red one says "1A". If you ordered a MINI BOX all phasers are set so they can tag each other and the display will show 1X. My medic box has stopped working If you ve ordered a STANDARD Box then the first thing to check is that the medic box is set to the right team. If the box says Team A only then it will only reactivate the red team. If it says Team B only it [2] X:\LaserTagInABox\Production Division
will only reactivate the blue team. If you ve got a MINI BOX then the medic box will be set to reactivate any phaser. http://www.lasertag.com.au/content/support medic box I need to use the Spare Phaser If one of your devices such as a game box (Domination), medic box, master controller or phaser fails, then you will need to unlock the spare phaser to set it as the right device to replace the broken one. At the end of the time you ll hear a thud, like a door closing. These sound effects are also heard on the Medic Boxes (but not on the players phasers). Instead the phasers will say Game Over right at the end of the game.
