Snack Suggestions: Strawberry and banana fruit kabobs (Cat in the Hat s hat) Blue Jell-O with gummy fish Half of an Oreo cookie with stacked red gummy life savers and frosting (Cat in the Hat s hat) Cook green eggs and ham! Decorate cupcakes. What s a birthday party without cake! Getting Started: Hang a sign KidsPark Seussville or Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss Purchase inexpensive Cat in the Hat hats for the staff to wear Send an email reminder Post the event on Facebook Purchase needed materials Prepare materials ahead of time

Cat in the Hat Mask Paper plates Red and white construction paper Hat template (provided) Card stock Craft sticks Red and black markers or crayons Glue, tape and scissors Tape Cut the center of a paper out for each child Cut a red construction paper bow tie for each child Cut a supply of black construction paper ears and whiskers Print a hat on cardstock for each child Cut a hat our of cardstock out for each child Read Cat in the Hat Use red markers or crayons to color your hat Color the paper plate ring black Glue your hat on the top of the paper plate ring Glue on a bow tie, ears and whiskers Tape a craft stick on the mask as a handle
