GRASPING THE OPPORTUNITY LEADING CHANGE AND CAPITALISING ON THE BENEFITS ACROSS INDUSTRY 29-30 TH OCTOBER MTC, COVENTRY, CV7 9JU Sponsored by: Conference partners: Media Partner:

Welcome to Digitalising Manufacturing 2018 DIGITAL MANUFACTURING IS HERE NOW IS THE TIME TO GRASP THE OPPORTUNITY. Our flagship, two-day conference returns for 2018 and features a diverse agenda of presentations, workshops, panel discussions, digital manufacturing demonstrators and networking opportunities. One year on from Prof. Juergen Maier s launch of the Made Smarter Review at last year s conference, where do we stand and what has changed in the manufacturing world? We are delighted to welcome Prof. Maier back to the MTC as headline speaker for this year, as we discover how the Made Smarter vision is becoming a reality. The opening day will examine policy, international collaboration and learning, and skills and the work environment, while day two will focus on how to drive digitalisation in your business. The programme has been designed to help you explore the policy driving the digital era, as well as providing key information and know-how for those looking to be part of this must-do technological revolution. A key focus of the conference is to engage industry, particularly SMEs, in the digital revolution and to provide practical knowledge and support to get businesses primed for the digital journey. To that end, on day two we will be running interactive workshops on each of our key themes: } Asset utilisation } Quality } New business models } Flexibility and time to market } Labour and human-centred work environments Led by MTC experts, the workshops will provide practical guidance for end users. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn from real world use cases and the experiences of people and companies who have been there and done it. These will be interactive sessions where delegates can speak directly with the experts and share best practice. Parallel sessions will play a key role on day two. There will be one in the morning and a second in the afternoon, and each session is made up of a number of breakout presentations, tours and seminar sessions running simultaneously: } Technology presentations from our gold sponsors: } ATS } DXC Technology } Omron } OutSystems } Tour of the MTC s Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre Since we will have two parallel sessions taking place on day two, you will have the opportunity to attend both a technology presentation from one of our gold sponsors, as well as tour the state-of-the-art facilities here at the MTC. We would also like to make delegates aware that photography and filming will be taking place throughout the conference. We hope you enjoy the conference and find the sessions informative and valuable.
