Simple Cables Hat by Julia Gutkovskaya To fit a head of 54-58 cm The hat is knitted in the round, seamlessly. Materials: Yarn Alize Lana Gold (51% Acrylic, 49% Wool, 262 yards 3.53 oz - 240 m 100 g) - 1 ball Or other aran-weight yarn to get gauge. Needles 16 " 40 cm US 6 (4 mm) circular needles or a set of DPNs * 16" 40 cm US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles and a set of DPNs for the top* *Or you may use only 32" 80 cm needles for the Magic Loop technique You may use other needles to get gauge as I tend to knit loosely. Gauge 16 stitches and 22 rows - 4" (10x10 cm) in stockinette stitch using the larger needles Also you will need: A cable needle or one extra DPN for the cables if necessary One stitch marker Tapestry needle Simple Cables Hat by Julia Gutkovskaya Page 1
