Join it with firth chain using a needle (fig 7, 8). 7 8 11

Place your eyes higher above green part of body and attach it between rounds 25 and 26. 9 10 After inserting the safety eyes into the center of the eyes, attach it to the head between rounds 25 and 26. Stuff it firmly and sew shut in the same way we did for bear and bell (fig 10). Don t cut the tail, we are going to make the ears later. 11 12 13 Use the remaining tail to make the ears with a needle. Fold the tip on one side to form the ear. Make a stitch (fig 13) and bring the needle on the other side (fig 14). Make a few more stitches to secure the shape. Repeat the process to the other ear. 14 15 16 Go back to round 20 and work in the front loops. Making the feathers: Turn the body upside down and start making a series of shell stitch at the back using the previous yarn (fig 17). - Start with a sl st. Skip the next st, 5 dc to the next stitch (fig 18), skip the next st, slst to the next st. - You should have 13 shell stitches around the body. 12

17 18 19 You can now sew the eyes to the head (fig 20, 21). Close the wing with 15 sc across both sides (fig 23). Cut the yarn leaving some length. For the second wing, use a needle to move the yarn to the other corner (fig 24). The wings should be symmetrical with each other. 23 24 25 Place the wings under the feathers and sew only first 3-4 stitches (fig 25). Crochet 1 chain and 1 slst in each stitch (fig 29, 30). 29 30 There are a few ways on how to make a pompom. You can either use a fork, pompom make, or even your fingers. I did mine with my two fingers. I wrapped the yarn many times until I m satisfied on how big I want my pompom would be. The more times you wrap, the fluffier the pompom will be. 31 32 33 14
