There must e minimum verticl clernce of 30 from top of ceiling joist to roof rfter. Also, the ttic must hve ccessile power close enough to e le to plug in the fn or hrd wire to existing electricl. NOTE: Plese ensure tht there is dequte net free ventiltion for the Soltue Whole House Fn. You will need one (1) squre foo t of net free vent re for every 750 CFM of fn cpcity. WARNING. 1 Mrk Ceiling Loctions for Dmper Box Between Joists In the ttic, use keyhole sw to mke two holes in the drywll ginst the edge of the joist. This will work s guide for the templte used in the next step. Ensure tht one of the holes is used s the corner lignment nd ensure the grill will e in the desired loction on the ceiling.
