Background Transport 2030 was a 2 year foresight project led by IVA focusing on the transport system for goods and people and its infrastructure It was established in collaboration between industrial actors, vehicle manufacturers and transport-service providers, authorities and academia The aim of the project was to establish a platform for cross-sector cooperation, and from this to develop a vision for the future development of the transport system in a 20-year perspective 11/30/2011 KTH Royal Institute of Technology KTH Transport Day 3
Recommendations TRANSPORT 2030 There is a need for highly visible and forceful political leadership in the transport area, with a particular focus on innovation and a strengthening of the Swedish position in relation to European collaboration.
