Transmission Outages Outage The McCall Rd. 500/230kV autotransformer will be opened for a couple of hours on Thursday October 23. This outage will isolate Effingham County generation from the transmission system. McCall Road TS Replacement of temperature devices on equipment The Hatch-Duval 500 kv line tripped out shortly before 11:00. The Florida outbound TTC is being reduced as a result of this outage. No estimate yet on time for a return to service. Please check the OASIS postings for updates. Homeland Macedonia 115 kv line. Work will be done at Saint George to remove breaker and isolation and replace switches. Work is scheduled to start at 07:00 Hrs 12/08/08 and end at 17:00 Hrs 12/19/08. Villa Rica - Wansley 500kV is expected to be out of service till 15:00 12/17/08 The Hatch-Duval 500 kv line has been taken out of service, Jan 13, 2009 at 13:24. Emergency outage of the Hatch - Duval 500 kv line starting on 06/25/09 at 23:00 and ending on 06/26/09 at 05:00, the SOCO- Florida Interface will be reduced to 1200 MW. ITS Official Transmission Outage The Sequoyah - Bradley 500kV TL will be out of service from 10/05/09 at 04:00 until 10/09/09 at 16:00. This work may also necessitate opening the Bradley - Conasauga 500kV TL. The Loopers Farm - Oostanaula 230kV TL will be out of service from 10/05/09 at 07:00 until 10/06/09 at 17:00. For the concurrent outages of the Sequoyah - Bradley 500kV TL, the Bradley - Conasauga 500kV TL and the Loopers Farm - Oostanaula 230kV TL starting 10/05/09 at 04:00 until 10/06/09 at 17:00, the TVA-Southern interface limit will be reduced to 670MW. For the concurrent outages of the Sequoyah - Bradley 500kV TL and the Bradley - Conasauga 500kV TL starting 10/06/09 at 17:01 until 10/09/09 at 16:00, the TVA-Southern interface limit will be reduced to 780MW. If TVA determines that the Bradley - Conasauga 500kV can be safely left in service during the outage of the Bradley - Sequoyah 500kV TL, then for the concurrent outages of the Sequoyah - Bradley 500kV TL and the Loopers Farm - Oostanaula 230kV TL starting 10/05/09 at 04:00 until 10/06/09 at 17:00, the TVA-Southern interface limit will be reduced to 1550MW. 9/30/09 at 7:00 to 9:00 The Sequoyah - Bradley 500kV TL 10/05/09 at 04:00 until 10/09/09 at 16:00. Bradley - Conasauga 500kV TL and the Loopers Farm - Oostanaula 230kV TL 10/05/09 at 04:00 until 10/06/09 at 17:00 Sequoyah - Bradley 500kV TL and the Bradley - Conasauga 500kV TL starting 10/06/09 at 17:01 until 10/09/09 at 16:00 If TVA determines that the Bradley - Conasauga 500kV can be safely left in service during the outage of the Bradley - Sequoyah 500kV TL, then for the outage of the Sequoyah - Bradley 500kV TL starting 10/06/09 at 17:01 until 10/09/09 at 16:00, the TVA-Southern interface limit will be reduced to 1560MW. The Total Transfer Capability will be monitored and adjusted on a 2-day out basis and may be adjusted in real-time as system conditions warrant.

This interface notification replaces the prior notice. The outage of the Thalman - Duval 500kV TL previously scheduled for the evening of 10/07/09 has been delayed. In the same timeframe an outage will be taken of the the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 2000 MW. For the outage of the Thalmann - Duval 500kV TL starting at 10/13/09 22:00 until 10/14/09 06:00 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 1300 MW. For the outage of the Hatch - Thalmann 500kV TL starting at 10/17/09 5:00 until 10/19/09 21:00 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 2800 MW. For the outage of the South Bainbridge - Sub 20 (TAL) 230kV TL starting at 01/04/10 06:00 until 01/07/10 16:00 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 3400 MW. The Florida interface will re-evaluated on a 2-day out basis and may be adjusted in real-time as conditions warrant. LUDOWICI PRIMARY 115kV Breaker Outage on 2/17/2010 A maintenance inspection has been scheduled on the Jesup 115kV line breaker at Ludowici substation on 02/17/2010 @ 08:00 to 02/17/2010 17:00. ITS Official Transmission Outage For the outage of the Vogtle - Warthen 500kV TL starting at 02/17/10 08:00 until 02/18/10 16:30 the SOCO-VACAR Interface will be reduced to 1990 MW. For the outage of the North Tifton 230kV Bus #2 starting early morning at 02/23/10 01:00 until 02/23/10 04:00 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 3200 MW. For the simultaneous outages of the East Moultrie 230kV bus, the East Moultrie 230/115kV transformer and the Colerain - Kingsland 230kV TL starting at 04/13/10 07:00 until 04/13/10 15:00 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 3100 MW. For the outage of the Colerain - Kingsland 230kV TL starting at 04/13/10 15:00 until 04/14/10 16:00 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 3300 MW. This notice replaces the prior notification regarding interface reduction associated with the Colerain - Kingsland 230kV TL outage which has been delayed to accommodate this work. For the outage of the Pine Grove Primary 230/115kV Bank and 115kV Bus #2 starting at 04/17/10 06:00 until 04/18/10 17:00 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 2800 MW. For the outage of the Kingsland-Yulee 230kV TL starting at 04/26/10 06:00 until 05/14/10 16:30 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 3200 MW. ITS Official Transmission Outage For the outage of the Miller Steam Plant (SoCo) - East Point(TVA) 500kV line starting 05/08/10 at 06:00 until 5/9/10 18:00, the TVA-Southern Interface import limit will be reduced to 900 MW. For the outage of the Duval (FP&L) - Hatch 500kV TL starting at 06/03/10 21:00 until 06/04/10 08:00 the SOCO-Florida Interface will be reduced to 1500 MW. Please take note that this outage occurs overnight during off-peak hours. ITS Outage Due to work on the Bio- Center 230Kv Transmission Line, the Hartwell Energy Facility is limited to 120Mw per Unit. Expected duration of work is February 13 to March 4, 2012. ITS Outage The Conasauga Mosteller Springs 500kv Transmission line starting July 2, 2012 until Friday, July 6, 2012. This will limit deliveries into the ITS from the Murray facility. Until the line is back in service, all deliveries will require TVA transmission service. : Hatch has requested extending the outage of the Hatch Thalmann 500kV TL originally scheduled to end 2/17/13 17:00 until 2/21/13 17:00. The SOCO-Florida Interface will continue be reduced to around 2200 MW for the duration of this outage. The Florida interface will be re-evaluated on a 2-day out basis and may be adjusted in real-time as conditions warrant. Please note that multiple outages are currently contributing to the evaluated Florida interface capacity values.
