REQUEST FOR EXPRESTION OF INTEREST Released October 22, 2013, and will close December 16, 2013 Site Visits Scheduled for November 6 and 14, 2013 Document designed to solicit a broad range of ideas. Responses will help: Gauge investors interest in Fort Hancock Aid in developing sideboards for a potential RFP in the future

REQUEST FOR EXPRESTION OF INTEREST Seeks redevelopment ideas for 35 selected buildings at Fort Hancock, NPS will entertain ideas submitted on any building(s) within Fort Hancock.

REQUEST FOR EXPRESTION OF INTEREST NPS and Committee will market the RFEI jointly Questions and responses will be posted on FACA website: www.forthancock21stcentury.org RFEI responses will be evaluated. NPS will provide feedback to submitters. Submitters may revise proposals for submission to potential RFP.

RFEI Evaluation Criteria The compatibility of the applicant s proposal with the site s National Register and Landmark designations. Will not result in unacceptable adverse environmental impact. The financial capability of the applicant to carry out the terms of the proposal including: 1)financial resources; 2) investment/development track record; 3) demonstrated experience and ability in raising money from investors; and 4) experience in public private partnerships. The demonstrated experience of the applicant. The ability and commitment of the applicant to conduct its activities in the park in an environmentally enhancing manner through, among other programs and actions, energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling. The benefit to the NPS of the financial and other terms. The compatibility of the proposal with the historic qualities of the building(s) to be utilized.
