Piplup (pochama) Crochet Pokemon doll pattern Created By Michelle aka (Lugiaspal) Lately I have been crocheting pokemon dolls from patterns that I have found on the internet, so I thought of crocheting piplup, and came up with a pattern Crocheting terms SC: Single Crochet HDC: half Double Crochet Rnd: Round DEC: decrease Ch: Chain Materials Crochet hook F Yarn in light blue, blue, yellow, and white Felt in Black white, and light blue as the light blue yarn Polyfilling for stuffing Yarn sewing needle Dark gold DMC thread Starting Quick note, the light blue for the middle of the face, I did crochet that, but had difficulty writing it for a patter, so instead look a picture of piplups to see how that middle section is, and cut out some light blue felt fabric for it, same go s with the eye s. Row 15: Dec in 1 st 2 stitches, crochet to the last 2 stitches, Dec last 2 stitches (9) Row 16: Dec in the 1 st 2 SC, Crochet to the last 2, Dec last 2 SC (7) Ch1 and Slip Stitch around the Back flap once, and then bind off Tail Spikes make 2 Dark Blue Rnd 1: SC 4 in magic Chain Rnd 2: SC 1 Sc in first stitch, SC 2 in the next stitch around (6) Rnd 3-6: Sc around (6) Bo, and lightly stuff Beak Yellow Rnd 1: 6 SC in magic ring Rnd 2, 2 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, around (8) Rnd 3: 3sc in next 3sc, 2 sc in next sc, around (10) Rnd 4: 4sc in next 4 sc 2 sc in the next sc around (12) Rnd 5: 5 Sc in the next SC, 2 SC in the next SC around (14) BO and lightly stuff Light blue face place for head, get some light blue fabric and make the middle part for piplups face, also make some oval eyes using black felt, and then make small white circles for the eye Putting the doll together ( use the photos as a guide for building the doll Take the head and body and sew them together, make sure the head is not to floppy. Pin the white face plate down and sew them together, take the light blue felt cut out and sew on to the face. Add the beak on like how its shown on the photo. Add the eyes and your done with the face. Sew on the arms on each side, like how it is in the photo, sew on the leg tubes, on the bottom, like in photo, and put some stuffing in each, Add the feet to the tubes and sew them in place, like how they are shown in the photos, Now take the two half circles and place them up between the head and body, and sew them both down. Take the back plate, and sew it to the back, adding the two spike on them. Weave in ends and leftover on, shape piplup a bit, Now take the dark gold thread, and some dividers for the feet, put two dividers, like shown in the picture, and then sew a mouth on the beak, weave in the ends, fix it a bit and your done
