Casper de Clercq General Partner, Norwest Venture Partners With over 30 years of experience, Casper is a veteran of the medical device and life sciences industry, having led marketing and commercialization eff orts for companies that span the healthcare space. He brings extensive operating knowledge to Norwest Venture Partners, where he focuses on mid-to-latestage investments in consumer and digital health, healthcare IT, medical devices and diagnostics, technology-enabled healthcare services, and specialty pharmaceuticals. Aaron Flink Investment Manager, McKesson Venture Aaron Flink is an Investment Manager with McKesson Ventures. Before joining the McKesson Ventures team, he spent several years with McKesson s Corporate Strategy and Business Development group, focusing on both the distribution and technology spaces. Prior to McKesson, he spent six years with the Advisory Board Company in a variety of marketing, business development and product launch roles. Aaron is a graduate of Williams College and earned his M.B.A. from the Wharton School. Dan Galles Partner, Providence Ventures Dan is a partner at Providence Ventures, where he focuses on investments in the healthcare information technology, healthcare services, and medical device sectors. Dan has been investing in and partnering with management teams of early and growth stage companies in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. Dan has a master s in business administration from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. 4
Rebecca Kaul Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer MD Anderson Cancer Center Rebecca Kaul is Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer of MD Anderson Cancer Center, the world s premier cancer center. She works closely with their Information Services, Hospital and Clinical Operations, Strategic Industry Ventures, and leadership to identify creative and effective approaches for delivering the best possible patient outcomes and bringing these solutions to market. Josh Lee Principal, Monitor Deloitte For the last eight years, he has served as executive advisor to the CEO of Health Leads, an innovative public health program which mobilizes undergraduate volunteers across the country to work in urban hospitals. Josh Lee is a principal at Monitor Deloitte and leads the firm s healthcare provider strategy practice. Based in Boston, he has extensive experience in enterprise and business unit strategy, large-scale transformation, innovation, operations and organization strategy. Bob Reese Senior Vice President and Global Partner Philips Healthcare Transformation Services Bob leads the Healthcare Transformation Services global consulting practice. Bob brings a wealth of expertise across the clinical, operational, technical, and financial aspects of patient care. He has extensive experience in healthcare strategy and in the application of clinical data analytics to improve workflows and outcomes. Chris Wasden Executive Director, Sorenson Center for Discovery and Innovation and Professor, David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah Dr. Chris Wasden is the Executive Director of the Sorenson Center for Discovery and Innovation at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He is also an Associated Executive director at the Center for Medical Innovation at the medical school, and a professor in the Entrepreneurship and Strategy Department. He also continues to work with PwC where he was the Global Healthcare Innovation Leader. 5
