Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: a. Demonstrate intermediate watercolor painting skills including properties and ranges of use from which are primarily traditional augmented with experimental applications. b. Understand and utilize intermediate color theory applications in intermediate compositional structure. c. Identify, analyze and resolve intermediate technical problems inherent to watercolor painting. d. Present ideas and completed works of art in an intermediate professional format both visually and verbally. e. Utilize critical thinking skills to develop artwork that is relevant to a personal artistic vision and the technical parameters of selected watercolor painting techniques. 11.
