Page 2 President s Corner...The Chapter s strengths are its BOD members who are extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, and driven to maintain a strong APICS presence in the mid-florida area. The Mid-Florida Chapter had a very successful 2013-2014 year. This is a testament to the hard work that you, the members, have put into making our chapter as great as it is. Actively supporting our various Program and Educational offerings such as; 2013 International Conference, PDM s, Plant Tours, Webinars, Volunteer and Learn at Second Harvest and attending our CPIM/CSCP education series are examples of what makes our chapter successful. Thank you! We as a chapter are well postured to make Platinum again. Another of the Chapter s strengths is its BOD members who are extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, and driven to maintain a strong APICS presence in the mid-florida area. The 2014/2015 year will continue to be somewhat challenging. We will continue to focus on execution of our strategic goals, strengthening the marketing role, growing membership and continue gaining student involvement with our chapter. We have planned an exciting 2014-2015 slate of programs and is located in this issue. APICS 2014 International Conference is coming up October 19-21 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Make your plans early to get the best discounts and hotel preference. Click the link below for all the details http://www.apics.org/ sites/conference/annual/ home
