We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of metal detecting as a hobby. No brand or model of metal detector is endorsed by the club. Membership is open to the public with the only requirement being that all members follow the Treasure Hunters Code of Ethics. Club dues are $25.00 per family yearly. Get yours in if you haven t yet. Dues are $25.00 per family per year. You can bring them to the club meeting, send them to our PO Box listed on the front of this newsletter, or pay them on our website with PayPal. Help! We need all club members to help with our upcoming 27th National Hunt! We will meet at the Creek County Fairgrounds early Saturday morning. We will need to set up the building, the concessions, string the hunt field and bury the coins before our first hunt starts at 3:00. The more club members that come out the faster we can get it set up. We will also need help with the concessions, raffles, registration table, and the prize boards. Please bring donations for the Night Hunt, Main Hunt, Ladies Hunt, and the bingo to the club meeting or the hunt. We also need baked cakes, cookies, and pies to sell at the concession stand. We have one of the best hunts in the country because of our club members!

3 Secretary Notes Meeting Began: 7:40 pm Larry led the pledge and prayer. Larry introduced Richard Millsap, who heard about us from the Three Rivers Museum workshop. Old business: Larry apologized for any confusion about the club s auction. He stated it would be held during the April club meeting. Larry discussed the success of the Three Rivers Museum workshop. Then discusses the National Hunt coming up in April; stating we would have more information at the April meeting. Larry reminded members that CLUB DUES are due! New business: Larry talked about the Detector Raffle for the National Hunt. He stated the detector was donated to the club for the raffle to help add extra funds so we can have more outings. He encouraged members to check out raffle tickets and SALE SALE SALE!! Larry then talked about the detectors we will purchase as prizes for the Main Hunt. Larry asked that members bring donations for the National Hunt, for the Women s, Kid s, and Main hunts and for BINGO played on Saturday night. Larry asked anyone who has ideas about where to have a club hunt to please let any board member know so that we can check it out and try to set something up. Regular Raffle Break Time Meeting Returned Larry talked about the good finds found by members and brought in for the Find of the Month competition Larry welcomed 2 new members Matt Wilson and Richard Millsap. SATURDAY & SUNDAY APRIL 27 & 28th, 2013-4 MILES WEST OF SAPULPA, OKLAHOMA ON HIGHWAY 66 AT THE CREEK COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS - N35 58.946 W96 11.524 SATURDAY SCHEDULE 2:00-3:15 Saturday Registration 3:00-4:00 Mystery Maze Hunt Hunt each room to reach the Prize Room! You could win Silver Coins, Cash, Prizes, and Surprises! 4:45-5:15 Silver Quarter Hunt Only Silver Quarters will be buried! Good luck and find a lot! 5:00-7:00 Dinner Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Nachos, Frito Chili Pie, Chips, And more will be available at our concessions. 7:00 - Dark Bingo For Cash and Prizes! Dark Thirty Free Night Hunt Bullets, Buttons, Coins, Prizes, Brass, etc. No lights Allowed! We will accept donations to put into the hunt. SUNDAY SCHEDULE 7:30-8:30 Registration & Breakfast Biscuits & Gravy, Eggs to order, Sausage, and more! 8:45-9:45 Deep Competition Hunt Targets will be buried deep for a real test of you and your detector. All entry fees will be awarded to the top 3 winners!! 10:15-10:45 Silver Half Dollar Hunt Only Silver Halves will be buried. 11:00-11:30 Ladies Hunt Buried Silver Coins and Prizes. 80% of entry fees are silver and 20% of the fees will be prizes in the hunt. 11:30-1:00 Lunch Brisket Sandwiches, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and more! 12:45-1:15 Kid s Hunt Lots of Coins and prizes for kids 12 and under. Kids 6 and under can have one adult helper. Adults are requested to stay out of the kid s field all day long. 1:30-2:15 3 Amigos Hunt This is a three partner hunt and one must be a female. Teams will be formed Saturday at the Hunt Site! All fees will be paid back out to the top three teams! 2:30-3:00 Gold Coin/ Wheat Cent Hunt Targets will be buried for Gold Coins. All fees are used to buy 1500 Wheat Pennies and the rest for Gold Coins. 3:30-4:30 Main Coin and Prize Hunt Tokens will be buried for Silver Coins and Prize Targets!! Dime and prize tokens not found will be drawn for. No clad or foreign coins will be buried in this hunt!! We will have one Metal Detector Prize for each 25 Main Hunt Entries! All entry fees will be used to buy Silver Coins, Prizes, and Detectors. Good luck and find a lot! 4:30 -???? Prizes Awarded Last year we awarded lots of prizes in our Main Hunt! These included Silver Rounds, Silver Dollars, Gold Coins, Treasure Hunting Accessories, thousands of buried Silver Coins, and 6 Metal Detectors!! Cutoff for early entries is April 13th. 7 The Three Forks Annual Auction. Will be held during our April 5th Club Meeting. There will be lots of good stuff to win!!! We will have Treasure Hunting Books and Accessories, Old Maps, Baked Goodies, Surprise Bags, Household Goods, and all kinds of Miscellaneous Items. This is a very important fund raiser for our Club s General Fund so bring lots of donations and money for the auction.
