Yarn & Color Choices CHOOSING YARN 1 2 Yarn Choice All cradles must be made with new, clean yarn. Bulk Weight #4-6 is best for a sturdy cradle; thinner yarns tend to make flimsy cradles, but you can double up if you want to use Bulk Weight #1-3. Acrylic or acrylic/nylon blends are best. Please no cotton or wool yarn. Please no fluffy/fleecy/fuzzy/chenille/boucle yarn as this yarn can stick to micro-preemie skin cause tearing. We cannot accept cradles that have been exposed to smoke. Please h wash cradles that smell or have attracted pet hair after making them. Color Choice Cradles can be made for a boy, girl, or gender neutral. We prefer light pastels (pinks, blues, purples, multi-pastels) neutrals (whites, creams, yellows), but other color options are acceptable. We reserve solid mint green to honor Bridget her original cradle.
