Number on Ballot Form: 1 CHAN Chuk Cheung, Ivan ( 陳祝祥 ) Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking ChangJiang Corporate Finance (HK) Limited FCCA since 1997 I am seeking your support for my election as a Committee Member of ACCA Hong Kong 2014/2015. Experienced I started my career as an auditor at KPMG 25 years ago. My solid auditing experience paved a way for my subsequent securities regulatory role in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Now, I am working as a Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking of a PRC securities house in Hong Kong. I trust my long and broad experience create a strong foundation for me to serve our members. Committed I am committed to the Association, the profession and the society. I served ACCA Hong Kong since 2005 and have been a Committee Member and Co-Chairman of the Professional Development Sub-Committee from 2010. I am also serving on other committees of other accounting institutes, particularly those related to corporate finance and information technology. Furthermore, I participated in training up young accountants through acting as facilitator, reviewers and speakers in other institute or universities and acting as lecturer in different universities in Hong Kong. Number on Ballot Form: 2 CHAN, Mei Yan Hidy ( 陳美恩 ) Principal, Practice Development Crowe Horwath (HK) CPA Limited FCCA since 2005 Having served on various sub-committees of ACCA from 2001 and wishing to contribute more, I took a step further and have served as a Committee Member and Co-Chairman of the SME sub-committee since 2008. Under my co-chairmanship, numerous initiatives include offering management consultant training to ACCA members and business plan templates. We support Trade and Industry Department, Hong Kong Trade Development Council and provide free advice to the public. In addition, I am a member of ACCA Professional Development Sub-Committee and ACCA Tax Sub-Committee. I will stand for re-election to ACCA Committee in 2014. I have shared on the media accounting-related tips for SMEs. I am a mentor for HKU Business Consulting Practicum. I was a member of the ACCA task force on several Consultancy Papers including SME Financial Reporting Framework & Standards, Review of the Trustee Ordinance and others. I am a graduate of HK University and an MBA from University of Manchester. I have many years solid professional and commercial experience. Number on Ballot Form: 3 CHAN Wo Mi, Natalie ( 陳和美 ) Partner Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu FCCA since 2003 Being an ACCA member for over 15 years, I seek your support for me to contribute more directly to the accounting profession in the interests of ACCA members. I have been working in the profession since my graduation from The University of Hong Kong, serving a range of clients including financial institutions. My diversified audit and advisory work exposure, which includes four years stationed in China (2007 2011), has definitely enriched me with a good understanding of the business environment and accounting needs in Hong Kong and China. I participated in the events organized by ACCA, including the annual conferences, workshops and job shadowing for students. These give me opportunities to connect with different ACCA members and people of ability around the world. I believe I will be well placed to share my knowledge and experience to equip ACCA members who are in accounting, business and finance with the necessary support to face the challenges and to capture the opportunities in their careers. Number on Ballot Form: 4 LEE, Ka Fai Allan ( 李家輝 ) Director Allan Lee Professional Solutions Limited FCCA since 1999 I have been dedicated to serve the ACCA members and students and would like to serve in the Committee of the ACCA Hong Kong. Having served in the Committee for 6 years from 2007 to 2013, I have been actively participating in various ACCA activities and acted as speaker at ACCA workshops for mentor/mentee, students, CPD, SME and employers. Being the past Co-chairman and member of the Students Affairs Sub-committee, I have been actively participating and acting as speaker in various Inauguration Ceremonies and student events of universities and tertiary institutes. I graduated from the City University of Hong Kong and became an audit professional at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Afterwards, I changed my career to learning and was responsible for the development and delivery of technical and management development programmes at Deloitte and then at Horwath Hong Kong Group. To further develop my career in people development, I have obtained the Master of Science in Training and Performance Management from the University of Leicester and founded my own training and consultancy business in 2008. I would like to invite you to support me on my election and look forward to continuing my service to the ACCA members and students.
Number on Ballot Form: 5 WONG Kin Wah, Kenneth ( 王健華 ) Partner, Tax Services PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd FCCA since 2007 It is my honour to have the opportunity to elect for the ACCA Committee. I have been a member of the ACCA Tax Sub-committee since 2010. In these four years, I had the privilege to serve our members and the community through organising and participating in various activities like Tax Interest Groups, Free Tax Advisory Services, Annual Tax Conference, Budget Submission, etc. These meaningful activities can help our members and the community to learn more about our profession and ACCA. I graduated from The CUHK in 1997 and joined my current firm in the taxation areas up to now. I always share my knowledge and experience with our accounting and tax community in both ACCA and other public events. I also participate in some mentorship programme - it is always encouraging to help our next generation grow our profession. Moreover, I am a core working group member with a social service council and help NGOs through various social responsibility programme. Being the President and Group CFO of a holding company of a listed group, INEDs of several listed companies and an ACCA member over 20 years, I treasure the support from ACCA, I am dedicated to contribute back to the association. Number on Ballot Form: 7 YIP, Ka Ming Alice ( 葉嘉明 ) Partner KPMG FCCA since 2005 I am currently a Committee Member, Co-Chairman of the Professional Development Sub- Committee and a member of the Annual Dinner and Charity Task Force of ACCA HK. During this time, I have been actively involved in organising learning and development activities for our members, being a member of the ACCA task force on various consultations on financial reporting and regulatory matters, and supporting community activities such as the Community Day. I am extremely proud to be part of this leading professional body. In a fast changing and demanding world, I believe it is important for our members to have a broad view and strong leadership skills to add value to the business world and community. Number on Ballot Form: 8 YUN Kwok Wai, Davy ( 殷國煒 ) Tax Partner Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu FCCA since 1987 I have been serving as a member of the Committee of ACCA Hong Kong in the last six years. I also served as a co-chairman of the tax sub-committee. My professional specialization is taxation. In Deloitte, apart from being a client service tax partner, I lead the National Technical Centre of the Hong Kong tax practice. I have been rated by International Tax Review as a Tax Controversy Leader in 2013. In the last few years, I spoke or acted as facilitator at various tax seminars organized by ACCA Hong Kong, helped organize and participated in the Free Tax Advisory Services, helped ACCA Hong Kong make submissions on tax policies to the Government and represented ACCA Hong Kong in media interviews on tax policies. I believe ACCA Hong Kong can do more to enhance the professional technical knowledge of its members. I can play my part to continue to make contributions to members of ACCA Hong Kong with my tax technical knowledge. I look forward to your kind support!
