The sze of the requested abandonment totals +-.24 acres. Ths segment of exstng rght of way does not functon as a Cty street. An mproved north-south rght of way s beng provded as depcted on the proposed development plan to offset any mpacts on the exstng street network. Objectve 1.1 of the Transportaton Element of the Growth Management Plan provdes that the Cty shall contnually mplement resdental development roadway connecton standards whch promote convenent access to adjacent resdental developments and nearby uses yet dscourage cut-through traffc. Abandonng ths lttle used segment of rght of way wll dscourage cut-through traffc and provde convenent access to resdental development.
