It s completely youth-produced from director to stage hand, and you can be a part of it. For information on this year s production, check out the youth Facebook page at WRCT Youth Theatre or our website www.wrctheatre.org. Generally, kids 10 and up are cast. Haunted House Prepare to be scared!!!! The WRCT Haunted House is the best in the area, with a different theme every year. This is a youth project, and a lot of kids are needed to make it a success. For more information, contact the WRCT Youth Coordinator, Stephanie Hoerth at 715-697-2085 or scooterstar13@hotmail.com. HOPO Production OK. The first question everyone asks is what does HOPO mean? HOPO was started by Stephanie HOerth and Gretchen POwers, and HOPO is the first two letters of their last names. Got that? So, what is the HOPO production? HOPO auditions are always the Monday after the youth production closes in July. Casting takes place that day, and you do a read through of the script. Then, you get a week or so off to learn the script on your own or if you have a really big part, you might get some extra rehearsals in. Then, everyone gets together for rehearsals all day Monday Friday, and you put on a show Saturday and Sunday! It s a fast-paced, demanding schedule, but perfect for kids who have never been in a show or for those who can t commit to the whole rehearsal schedule of the summer production. For information on this year s production, check out the HOPO Facebook page @ HOPO Productions or our website www.wrctheatre.org. Generally, kids 8 and up are cast. What else does WRCT have for kids? Many of our main stage productions have parts for area youth. To see a full season schedule, stop by the office or go online at www.wrctheatre.org. We Have Fun! Come Play With Us!
