Transformers for every application. Instrument transformers Instrument transformers are client-tailored laminated, toroidal or circuit board transformers. The products are optimised to the client application to enhance the performance of the device. Typical variables include client features such as mechanical dimensions, heat generation and the minimization of losses. 1- and 3-phase isolation - and safety isolating transformers Isolation and safety isolating transformers for various voltage series in the output range of 10 VA 10 kva are standard products. The transformers comply with the requirements of the Standard EN 61558-1. We stock the most common models in this category Medical safety isolation transformers A medical safety isolation transformer is used to supply medical equipment. The series of transformers is certifi ed by SGS Fimko and their primary voltage is either 230V or 400V and secondary voltage 115-0-115V in the output power range of 3500 VA 7500 VA. They are also used in applications where galvanic isolation is not needed. An autotransformer has smaller physical dimensions than a corresponding galvanically isolated transformer.
Transformers for every application. Toroidal transformers Our toroidal transformers are designed for customer applications. The output power is 20 VA 2000 VA and they can be fastened to the base either by the traditional centre hole method (metal disc / moulted central) or with a protective case solution specific to the application. Encapsulated safety isolation - and isolation transformers We stock Tufvassons Transformator Ab s encapsulated mains transformers up to protection class IP65. Our product range includes both movable and fi xed models with DIN rail or screw attachment. We also provide custom transformers with protection tailored to the client s requirements. Inductors We design and manufacture 1- and 3-phase inductors for customer applications. Ferrite transformers and inductors Our manufacturing and supply programme includes a very extensive range of different ferrite transformers and inductors as well as coils ranging from through-hole to surface mounted components. We can fill small and large orders at competitive terms. Linear power supply units Our standard types cover a current range of 1-20 A with a voltage range of 12-24 V. We also stock standard models with a primary voltage of 380-440 V. We manufacture 1- and 3-phase PSUs to client specifi cations, for example by combining several AC and DC secondary voltages to suitable mechanics.
Switched mode power supply units As a standard, we stock 9.6 W 480 W PSUs with 12 or 24Vdc secondary voltage. We also supply three phase PSUs as well as AC/DC or DC/DC custom PSUs. Audio and line transformers Our audio and line transformers are special products designed for customer applications. As a standard, we stock 4 Ω and 8 Ω transformers. Mains adapters We supply high-quality Tufvassons Transformator Ab s AC/AC and AC/DC standard mains adapters and tailored special mains adapters. Switched mode AC/DC mains adapters up to 100 W output power are also included in our product range. Variable transformers Our product range includes 1- and 3-phase variable transformers 1A 28 A, IP00 or IP20. We also supply motor driven models and enclosed special models equipped with, e.g. current or voltage meters etc. Assemblies We design and manufacture subassemblies for more extensive units manufactured by the client. Generally, such assemblies contain one or more of our main products.
