Phase Footer & Base Plate Assembly 5 Insert a bolt into each of the compression springs. Insert the bolts and the compression springs into the inner corner holes of the base plate. Screw the bolts into the coupling nuts until the bolt tips are revealed. Screw the foot assembly to the foot plate nuts. Repeat Steps - for the all foot and base plates. - x Bolt (5/6 x 8) - x Compression Spring - Base Plate - x / Coupling Nut (5/6 x 8) - Foot Plate Nut - Foot Plate P
Phase Footer & Base Plate Assembly, cont. 6 Place each foot assembly down based on the pre-established design configuration. PLATE DIRECTION: * When setting the plates down, make sure the open cutouts of the plates and cutouts of the posts are aligned and facing in the same direction as the spine. Completed Foot Plate 6 * P
Phase Beam Assembly ( Circuit) Place beam upside down on the floor to reveal the beam canal. Take a junction block and snap in receptacles on each side. 5 Lower the junction block assembly into the beam canal with the receptacles facing up and then rotate in a clockwise direction to snap the receptacle in to the receptacle cut outs. Slide on the junction block brackets to each side of the junction block assembly and fasten with screws onto the beam assembly. Repeat Steps - for all beam assemblies. P5
Phase Beam Assembly ( circuit) Place beam upside down on the floor to reveal the beam canal. Lower the circuit bracket and align its center screw holes with the pilot holes in the center of beam canal. Screw it down with the screws provided in the package. Take an circuit junction block and snap in receptacles on each side. After making sure that the junction block is oriented right side up, snap into the bracket. P6
Phase Installing Post, Beam, and Base Feed Once complete, lay each beam assembly between each foot assembly. NOTE: Make sure the Outer-to-Inner beams are mounted to the ends while the Inner-to-Inner beams go in between them. Place (do not fasten) the vertical posts on each of the footer assemblies. Slide the beam assemblies onto each of the vertical posts and fasten each side of the beam using screws. Take the exposed end of the power entry and feed through the desired end of the beam and into the adjacent post-opening. NOTE: Inner-to-Inner beams are slightly longer than Outer-to-Inner beams. Outer-to-Inner Beam Inner-to-Inner Beam Outer-to-Inner Beam NOTE: L-shaped configurations must use inner-to-inner beam 5 Continue to feed the power entry until the exposed end is out through one of the base plate s openings. Secure the post to the footer assembly using a 7/6 spanner. 5 * Use torx head screw to mount beams on vertical posts. P7
Phase Installing Jumpers Connect power entry plug to the junction block. Feed the jumper through the beam canal and into the vertical post opening into the next beam assembly. Connect the jumper to each junction block. Repeat Steps - until the last jumper is connected the last junction block. STOP The remaining installation of electrical must be installed by a professional electrician. P8
Phase 5 Installing Caps & Covers 5 Insert side covers into all exposed openings of each vertical posts. Place top caps on all vertical posts. Take two data adapters/face plates and snap them onto each end of the underside of the beam assembly. Snap on data face plates. Insert the bottom beam plates between each data adapter on the underside of the beam assembly. Repeat Steps - for all beam assemblies. P9
Phase 5 Installing Caps & Covers - Post Sleeve Detach the pre-cut portion for the base feed access and line up with post. Align the Post Sleeve* on both sides and apply pressure until pieces snap into place. Installed Post Sleeve. NOTE: After installing electrical, level for best aesthetic appearance. *Note: Post Sleeves are included with orders after November 6, 05 only Attached Post Sleeve P0
Phase 6 Installing Screens 5 Place screen clips on top of each beam and loosely link both sides with a screw and nut. Insert plastic sleeves into the opening of each screen clip. Insert the screen into the screen clip. Make sure the metal side is down and fabric side is up. Tightly screw the screen clips with #6 allen wrench to secure the screens in place. Repeat Steps - for each screen. NOTE: Pre-measuring each clip s distance from the beam ends before attaching will ensure a centered and balanced appearance to the installed screen. (Suggested distance between clip and beam edge: inches.) NOTE: For or 8 high screens, metal strip along the length of the screen should be located on the bottom when installed. NOTE: Frosted glass screens cannot be used with ILINE. #6 Allen Wrench (Angle-tip is recommended) P
Phase 7 Final Adjustments Check the vertical and horizontal alignment of the beams and screens. If not aligned, use a / spanner to rotate the coupling nuts on the base to change each corner s elevation until leveled. NOTE: Use a leveling guide for accuracy. * Adjust height of each coupling-nuts to level the base plate of each post. Vertical alignment Horizontal alignment Completed ILINE P
Phase 8 Power Pole Retrofit 5 Mount the adapter bracket to power pole using two machine screws and two self tappers. Insert Power Pole with adapter bracket into the slot opening in the side of the vertical post. (Remove the top cap and the side trim from the vertical post for post installation.) Anchor down the post with two screws into the vertical post. Adjust glide in the bottom plate to the floor level. Provide anchoring to the sealing using the sealing trim..
