Snow Flake Clock Saturday, August 5 or Tuesday, August 8 Learn to embroider a clock face and take a clock apart to insert the new clock face. A blank clock face (with numbers) will be included in class. Supply List Purchase an Analog Wall Clock with Round Dial Available in stores: Walmart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc. Dial diameter must be approximately 6.50" - 8.50" (see Select Clock by Dial Diameter below). At the store, take a measuring tape with you and check the dial diameter. (See below.) Advertised Size: Clock Diameter Measured Size: Dial Diameter Select Clock by Dial Diameter Clock diameter (shown on the packaging) is wider than the dial diameter, Clock diameter is measured from rim to rim - dial diameter is measured from the inside of the clock frame. The dial diameters that work with the designs are approximate 6.5" or 8.25". Take a measuring tape with you when you shop and measure the dial diameter.

Fabric for Clock Dial First Choice Select a solid color fabric - the design will show up better on a solid or near solid fabric. You will need a sturdy fabric like sueded or brushed cotton twill. Second Choice Quilting Weight Cotton - Light colored marbled fabric You must fuse an interfacing to this fabric to provide body; for example, fuse Floriani Dream Weave Ultra to the wrong side of the fabric. Cut a piece of the interfaced fabric large enough to fit the hoop you intend to use. Twisted Satin Cord ¼" wide (5mm - 6mm) or 3/16" wide 1 yard. Color to coordinate with design colors. Embroidery Hoop 6" wide hoop - square or rectangular 7" wide hoop - square or rectangular 8" wide hoop - square or rectangular Embroidery Stabilizer Floriani Cutaway Medium Fusible Stabilizer Must be large enough to cover your fabric. 15" roll is perfect for most hoops. You can choose other color schemes that seem appropriate for your fabric and clock color. But only 2 colors are required. Needle 80/12 microtex or 80/12 denim needle. 2
