DeSCRIPtION SketchPaint is a waterborne 2-component PU-acrylic dispersion topcoat. It turns practically every smooth surface into an erasable surface for whiteboard markers. Important: the smoother the finish, the easier it can be cleaned. If you also want the surface to be magnetic, than first apply magnetpaint from magpaint. SketchPaint is available in white and transparent and is safe for use indoors: it is low on odor, complies to european safety regulations for childrens toys (en 71-3) and has 0% VOC. APPLICAtION AReAS Applicable in class rooms, offices, health institutions, conference rooms, practically everywhere where a dry erase surface is needed. Writings can easily be removed with a soft cloth. Persistent marker stains should be removed with cleaner for whiteboards. APPLICAtION INStRUCtION GettING the most OUt OF SketCHPAINt make sure the surface is as smooth as possible. Anything uneven makes it harder to sketch and clean up. Do not be afraid to sand (slightly) before aplying (specifically fresh wooden surfaces). Anything uneven shows on SketchPaint once it has dried up, so make sure you cleaned the surface beforehand with a dry cloth and avoid dust being rolled into the paint. Any surface that is not closed or sealed before painted with SketchPaint, will not work well. mixed A and B together? Use it within the hour. Only use wet-on-wet touch-up within thirty minutes. Last but not least: make a small test in an inconspicuous area, whenever you are not sure, before you do the entire surface. mix component A and B according to the mix instruction below. Add all the hardener from the small can in the large can. Stir well for 3 minutes. Wait 5 minutes to allow bubbles to dissipate from the mixed SketchPaint. If necessary, dilute to a maximum of 3% fresh water. Pot life (processing time): approx. 1 hour, depending on ambient temperature. to avoid overlap marks cut in as you go, and paint the surface top to bottom in 2-3 feet wide sections at a time. A single coat should do the job in most cases (prepared suface). Remove masking tape within the hour after application. SketchPaint should not be applied at temperatures lower than +10 C and/or a relative humidity higher than 80%.
